First, be aware that this is a short appetizer of a game. 3-5 hours depending on your experience with the Point-&-Click genre. I would personally only buy it when it's on discount, as I think it is somewhat overpriced for how short it is at its normal price, but your mileage may vary. That aside, the gameplay you're getting here is pretty much like any other Point-&-Click. There's a lot of puzzles, a few of which don't really make sense? Most of them are pretty good though, and it's enough to keep your brain tinkering for some time, but if you're new to this genre and puzzle games in general, you may find this one just a bit harder. There is a cool mechanic in this game where there is a hint book, but instead of making it immediately accessible, it's locked behind a short side-scrolling shooter mini-game. The mini game itself is honestly kind of boring but it does help by making it so that you'll only use the hint book when you REALLY need to while still not keeping you completely in...

This game is incredibly creative—especially perfect for kids. I first played it as a child, and now, about 15 years later, I’ve returned to it. Beyond the nostalgia, it reminds me of a simpler, quieter time when the world didn’t feel so noisy. We would sit down, fully absorbed in the game, solving puzzles without the constant pull of social media or outside distractions. It’s not just about growing older; this game belongs to a different era—a beautiful one. I even let some modern kids try it, and instead of engaging with the puzzles, they immediately tried to Google the solutions. That’s the opposite of what the game encourages: thinking, struggling, and finding your own answers. The friendship between Josef, the little robot, and Berta, the girl he’s trying to save, is quietly heartwarming. It’s also fascinating to see how Josef brings small moments of joy to the city as he moves through it—maybe that’s what societies should have been about, rather than what the...

Machinarium is a beautifully crafted point-and-click adventure game that masterfully combines a captivating narrative, unique artistic design, and clever puzzle mechanics to deliver a memorable and emotionally resonant experience. Developed by Amanita Design, the game transports players into a dystopian steampunk world inhabited by quirky robots, where the protagonist, a small robot named Josef, embarks on a heartfelt quest to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend and thwart the plans of the Black Cap Brotherhood. What sets Machinarium apart from many adventure games is its ability to tell a story almost entirely without dialogue, relying instead on visual storytelling, environmental cues, and charming animations to engage players. The game’s art style is perhaps its most immediately striking feature. Every frame of Machinarium is hand-drawn with intricate detail, blending a muted color palette with a whimsical, almost surreal aesthetic. The environments are richly textured, from the rust...

an enjoyable 5-6 hours of gameplay with an amazing soundtrack, graphics, and animations; and of course, puzzles. if you still haven't played this cult classic and hell of a game yet, buy it, download and start playing right away. you're NOT going to be disappointed.

Yea - it's a very nostalgic game from my childhood. After so many years i decided to buy it to relive those times, and i don't regret it. I didn't finish it when i played it as a child, which gives me even more reason to finish what i started. Thank you to the developers for this wonderful game and its distinctive style! It would be cool to see the story continue in a sequel, if there is one. And so maybe even my future children will experience the atmosphere of Machinarium 2 as well :D

Great point'n'click adventure. Polish game with a German artist that you can accualy follow on social media. Riddles are not to hard and I never needed a guide. Except for the valve puzzle. Everyone hates valve puzzle and if you say you don't this game will make you
