This is one of those kinds of games where you really can't spoil much about it since that ruins the fun. This is game has one of those meta narrative stories, and I personally think it's really well done! The mystery is very engaging and you're often questioning wtf is going on. Keep in mind it's a short dessert, so it'll last you around 3 hours, but the experience is definitely worth it. 8/10, Daniel Mullins slaps

DDLC really did a number on the collective horror dev psyche back in the 10's, didn't it? Pony Island does actually go a li'l further than the typical "I'm in ur hard drive" schtick by wrapping actual game elements around it, so there's at least some element of direct engagement involved. ...sorry, I'm sorry, I'm being mean, but that bit with the Steam chat was really unnecessary. I hadn't talked to that dude in YEARS. Most meta psychological horror games stop at letting you know that you have an unhealthy hentai addiction between the folders which is, like, boy do I, and I'll tell anyone that happens to bring it up! Pony Island, otoh, knows where your guilt core actually is, and I don't like that sort of thing. Past that, Pony Island also does that a-z narrative bit that prods repeated playthrus for you to get that tasty 100%, but eases the burden with a post-completion branch access menu, which is always nice. Even if doing so makes you feel like a melted bastard for it. Lic...
Kind of a spiritual successor to peggle or maybe a prequel, I'm not sure.. 10/10
Was good.
Thanks, Satan
I hope he's free
masterpiece somebody pls give the devs a nobel prize
This is my favorite game of all time, with the hex following in 2nd place. And I have 3000 games in my collection and have been playing games since before the internet existed. Take my word for it. Pony Island is a masterpiece. And once you beat it, play the hex. And then inscryption.
Wholesome pony game with no religious messaging.
Did NOT dissapoint. Played this in anticipation of the second one and I can't wait for the continuation!
