LEGO® MARVEL's Avengers

I've already played this game before on videogame, but I had to buy it on steam too just to do the 100%. Summarizing this game is so cool and managed to represent the Avenger's movies so well, not only with the characters but also with the levels. It is 10/10 game!

The only reason why this gets a "yes" is because even a mediocre Lego game tends to be better than most other games out there. And this is mediocre at best. Complacency breeds laziness, and I feel that sums this game up quite nicely. It's not that the game is bad. It does the job it sets out to do, but it does it in rather thoughtless ways. The missions tell the story of the movies. The first seven are taken from the first Marvel's Avengers movie. At this point, three side levels open up, reflecting Iron Man 3, Thor 2, and Captain America 2. The final 5 levels represent Avengers: Age of Ultron. As you can see, the balance is a bit lopsided here. The focus, of course, is on Avengers, yet playing through the story mode you miss three of the levels entirely and have to pick them up yourself after. The levels are generally lengthy, broken into three sections. Each one has the usual items to find, the 10 minikit pieces, the red brick, three character tokens, and one Stan Lee cam...

save your money in my opinion this feels like a downgrade to marvel superheroes (the first) in every way. Avengers was just less appealing to play as it's just recycled movie content from avengers aou and the og avengers. Almost every voice line was ripped straight from the movies. Gameplay wise there are cooler stuff and qol changes. finally for tony stark you can select what iron man suit you want to be and in character select you don't have to wait a bajillion years for the character you want to select. But honestly even with the improvements, marvel superheroes is still better as with combat, abilities, and atmosphere. I can only say this game is good if you have no other lego game to play. 4/10 game imo

Used to have the Nintendo 3DS version, this is a total different and way better experience, I feel like a kid again lmfao
