Edit/Disclaimer: It's come to my attention that the dev has fixed the brain death bug and I've confirmed it myself! Also he's introduced a tutorial and made a number of changes to the game improving it and the UI has gotten more responsive. As well as some balance changes to dwarf needs along with a tech tree of unlocks so you don't get instantly overwhelmed by all the items and rooms in the menus which makes it alot easier to figure out. Still drag and drop everything though but it's not nearly as clunky now. I still can't justify the $30 pricetag however. We'll have to see what the end result of Early Access is like but he's showing no signs of slowing down content updates and bug fixes so this might one day be worth the price. Stories of Wasted Potential and Comas. I'm just going to straight up say it. I only got this game because I wound up getting the 30$ from a friend in real life. To me it was basically free at that point and it did honestly get my interest. It looked like it...

I like the game and can see it go far, but they need to improve the AI. the farmers for me sometimes dont place the plots and i cant make the beds. is it worth 25$ no i think its not but its stell a good game.
Game is unfinished, I can't reccomend it... yet. It is a great little game and has amazing potential, but the gemstones aren't implemented yet, ad the encounters aren't finished. but it can be a great game, add a couple more "ages" and a lot more content and enemies etc. and it will really shine.
While base premise is more than fine - dwarf fortress wannabe with lots of humor, I'm afraid it has neither element of dwarf fortress nor humor, pehraps short of difficulty and randomness; Expected difficult, but fair game with lots of humor with poop jokes thrown around there and there; what I got is poop based 'humor' that grew from 2 things; excrements and vulgar vocabulary; While precise F-strike is fine by me, using it as baseline for jokes and 'humor' is far from good quality; Had I wished for that level of 'humor' I'd rather go to primary school and hear the students there; as per gameplay - while it promises difficult gameplay it does deliver; unfortunatelly too bad it comes down to finding and repeating the very same single pattern that will work or will not work anyway depending on random dice roll; I have nothing against randomness as long as it can make element harder by accident or easier by accident; instead of make or break the battle [in this case]. Additional issue is...

It was a good promise. Failed.
I think that this game is entertaining, very fun and has an interesting/different view on dwarf, so why not recommed it? basically i dont think that it is worth 14.99€ if it was something like 5€ then it was money well spent. I have 2 major complaints which is the reason why i think that its not worth its price. first is the UI, its terable and sloppy. Secondly is the fact that after you have gotten a hang of the games mechanich you can complete 11/12 of the steam achivements in 2 easy games, this may just be me but what gets small games like this a boost in game hours is a good diverse set of challengers/achivements, not 11/12 in 2 easy games and then the last one being beyond Nintendo hard mode... this game have been in early access for 2 years before being released summer 2017, i expectede more, when it first came out it was called queen under the mountain, but then change name to hairy little buggers, if i go to my library and activate ''list on'' mode the picture still say...
"LABOR OF LOVE" AWARD
This game has lots of potential as a fun twist on dwarf fortress, but it's lacking in complication and freedom of play. The animations are quite good and I love pixelated indie games, but the animations are repetitive and bland, and not manipulable like dwarf fortress is. I understand that the developer probably has different aspirations about what the game should be, but dwarves stepping in poo and shagging away their days is quite kindergarten for game standards. Decently disappointed at what "Queen Under The Mountain became.
Just about the most ridiculous game I have ever seen. Well worth the 10 bucks it's going for now.
