About This Game

Full 4 player controller support

Annually, from across dozens of galactic sectors, men, girblons, women, and children tune in to their local space TV stations for the most anticipated event of the year: “ChargeShot”. Bounty hunters from across the known universe compete annually for eternal glory and a coveted $2,000,001 space-credit reward.

In ChargeShot, each player is armed with a Pulsar Cannon, capable of powerful blasts that bounce off walls and instantly destroy any life forms they touch; an Energy Shield, which can reflect Pulsar blasts and knock opponents into dangerous hazards; and a standard-issue jetpack for traversing the battlefield with deadly speed and grace.

Test your reflexes against up to 3 other friends (or enemies, as the case may be by the end of the night).

TLDR VERSION: ChargeShot is an Action-Packed local multiplayer brawl-fest that stands toe-to-toe with the other juggernauts of the genre. If you're asking youself, should I buy this, just ask yourself this: "Do I want a game thatt I can show to any of my frieds and have a good time with, no matter how good they are at videogames, Do I want a game that is both mechanicly deep and fun and simple? If the answer is yes then ChargeShot is just the game for you. Pros: Great art if you dig pixel art with a grunge 90's 'zine feel to them, Simple intuitive controls, fast & fun gameplay, Gameplay is deep and strategic, lots of interesting arenas that change up the mechainics, full controller support, supports up to 4 players. Cons: The games single-player content isn't much to shake stick at, No online multiplayer(The real fun of this game comes from playing with friends locally, if thats not something you can do you might not get the full experience of this game), PC only

It's as addicting and fast paced as Nidhogg (Which I was pleased to learn you can play that character in this.). The recoil from my blast sent me to the other side of the map where said blast then killed me. 10/10

Urgh, I nearlly clicked "recommend", but only because, like me, it might be worth adding another 4p local multiplayer game to your library if you're collecting them. But only for something a little different, not because it's particularly good. In the end I decided it's wierd to have a "recommend" and then actually rip it apart in the description. So I changed it to a "don't recommend" to catch the eye of the devs in hopes they might take on the feedback. It's main problem is it's just not obvious how to play. You all kind of randomly kill each other over and over and over again, in a chaotic mess ove over-sized bullets that bounce off the wall and are moving too fast to react to. Half of your deaths are by shooting yourself. Yes you can eventually get better at it but the fact that everyone's initial game is just random deaths where you can barely make out what's happening amongst the chaos, is a testimant to how unintuitive the whole thing feels. By comparison, I use TowerFall...

Cool couch duel game. Simple, good controls, lovely style. The arenas affect every match and provide variety. Devs: A Linux/Mac port would be great! 9/10
