This game... single-handedly carried my childhood. I consumed terabytes of GMod videos on YouTube, each one a window into a world of chaos, comedy, and creativity. And one day, I finally summoned the courage to ask my mother to buy it for me. That moment? That was the beginning. I would wake up hours before primary school — bleary-eyed, heart pounding — just to squeeze in a few precious moments in the sandbox. I downloaded petabytes of mods with reckless abandon. There were no limits. No rules. Only possibility. I spawned an unimaginable number of zombies. I built things that made no sense. I laughed at flying toilets. I crashed my game more times than I can count. And I loved every single second of it. The end. Amen.

About This Game
You spawn objects and weld them together to create your own contraptions - whether that's a car, a rocket, a catapult or something that doesn't have a name yet - that's up to you. You can do it offline, or join the thousands of players who play online each day.
If you're not too great at construction - don't worry! You can place a variety of characters in silly positions. But if you want to do more, we have the means.
Beyond the Sandbox
The Garry's Mod community is a tremendous source of content and has added hundreds of unique modes to the game. In Trouble In Terrorist Town, you can be a detective solving an online murder as criminals attempt to cover up their homicides. Be a ball, a plant, a chair, or anything else in Prop Hunt's elaborate, shape-shifting game of Hide & Seek. Elevator: Source is gaming's first elevator thrill ride, delivering players to airlocks and kitten dance parties.
We have one of the most vibrant Steam Community Workshops, with over 300'000 models, maps, and contraptions to download. It has everything from new tools to improve your builds, to guns that fire rainbow-tinged nuclear blasts from space. Take as much or as little as you need: it’s all free.
Please note: Some multiplayer servers and game-modes might require you to own other games - such as Counter-Strike: Source and Team Fortress 2.

It ALWAYS hits when ur bored or js doing nothing js sitting down and downloading a few mods and js trying them out is always fun but playing with friends is the best experience ever
Love this game, its very goofy and there is lots of stuff you can do, it's quite hard to get bored of a game like this. It's very fun when you play with friends (and chaotic) I 100% recommend this game because it features so much to do, even if you get bored the workshop has endless possibilities. Have fun!
hours of fun! what a great game, timeless classic!
It’s a really great game to just goof around with friends, and it's also a great game for people who want to get into modding, easily being able to put your mod on the workshop for others to try out can help someone get into game making them Self ! I have put so many hours into this game. I highly recommend it.
Trying to emulate the Achievement Hunter TTT series with my friends ended up being the best case scenario. Where it lacked in comedy from being entertainers, it made up for with fun gameplay, wacky situations, and a lot of abuse of the added roles and weapons. It was a pain to manage the modded server, but it was absolutely worth the entertainment had.
I really liked this game because it has "realistic" physics. Also worth mentioning it's very fun to play with your friends on a discord or steam call!
A great game where I can do almost ANYTHING. Have fun? - yes. Have an atmospheric game on the server? - sure. An old game where you go in and remember the old days.
Garry's Mod is a sandbox game which is like giving a toddler a box of LEGO and telling them to build anything. And yet, somehow the baby will still manage to build a 1940's German bunker.
