Let's Sing 2016

Listen, I ignored the comments that said that you wouldn't be able to calibrate the game, but spoiler alert: DO NOT IGNORE THE REVIEWS SAYING YOU CAN'T CALIBRATE THE GAME. My mic picks up the signing about a good half count after the lyrics have passed. It's no bueno.

Are you all whiners out of your freaking minds? This game is only lacking in-game content that can be fixed with DLCs! Game and toning system works perfectly fine, you can have lots of competitive fun with your friend by just plugging in another mic. Overpriced? No, $22.49 for a finished product, with 35 songs and a few different modes, and from what I can tell it is bug free. It is a basic concept, you sing you get points.

It's going somewhere.. I miss the option for a bigger catalogue, but I'm guessing a DLC is already on its way. I just hope we are able to choose songs we want. Some kind of a store. I would also like to be able to turn up the volume on the mic, in the game. But think Singstar. It's going there.

Im a 30 year old guy with a base voice and this program works better then fine for me. Good acually! Im quite impressed with the voice recognition software. You dont expect a guy with a base voice to sing "Let it go" and "Lorde - Pure Heroine" the last one I even managed to pull of in some crazy russian dialect. (im not russian) :) Microphones: Its important to have a mic that takes in alot of your voice. Ive tested this with some different settings and microphones. A real studio mic plugged into the pc was the worst because the pc didnt couldnt probably give it enugh power to function properly. Best of is a mic made for pc use as they dont requier so much power to run. Also a mic that has some kind of padding on it or is strong enugh to be used as a real mic, because otherwise you will be hearing your every breath like darth vader. :) Liked this game 100 times more then the playstations singstar because that just is crappy when it comes to guys trying to sing it. There is a delay on your voice making this game unplayable. There is also no microphone input volume controls so have fun eating your mic.

The lack of song choices in actually pretty redicoulous. I spent $25 for songs I don't even like. Waist of money IMO.

The game has 35 tracks, which is alright in general and you can even play against others in local multiplayer, if you own multiple mic devices (or just have one device for one gamemode). That's all the positive aspects for this game. First of all, the game has no mouse support and you can only navigate with the keyboard in the menu, which is weird but I can get use to it. If you have multiple mic devices connected to your PC, than good luck finding the proper device and choosing it in game. If you want to calibrate your device, you can forget about it. When I sing, the game sometimes doesn't get my voice and often ignores it. The game promotes 7 game modes, but to be honest 2 of them is not really mention able because how similar they are. You are locked to the 35 tracks, so after some time you will get bored by them. If you want to play a karaoke game, avoid this one. I'm sure you can find something better and more varied than this thing. I don't recommend getting this at all.

This is reminiscent of a place in K-town NYC where the karaoke prgram rates your singing. The difference is, if you score above 90% at the karaoke bar, you get a free drink. The videos are the original music videos. With that said, this is a neat little program. Unfortunately, the songs are very limited. I only know 5 of the 35 songs and can only sing 3 of them. At the discounted price, it is not a bad deal. If there were DLCs to download, like Rocksmith, this would be a definite buy. But if you don't like more than 5 songs on here, pass or wait for a sale.
