This is easily the best Borderlands in terms of gameplay. The key to enjoying it is to completely ignore the story and dialogue, it's meh at best. The moment-to-moment action is fast, exciting, and incredibly fun. The guns are easily the best in the series, being weighty and satisfying to use, with one tailored to every playstyle. This makes nearly everything you pick up a blast to play with. Since combat makes up 90% of the experience, BL3 delivers exactly where it matters most. Highly recommend this game if you're wanting something to just switch your brain off and sink many hours into.

The combat is great, but the story is so cringe you can't play the game properly, or so i thought. After revisiting it a few years later, it's alright, just block the story out of your mind and the game is.. fun, i guess? Longtime borderlands fan here btw.

Perfect Game 46 - Borderlands 3 - 193 Hours - 8/10 That was definitely a palaver, but I got to the end of it eventually. Borderlands 3 is one of those games where it's fun to play and is funny at times but sometimes you just want it to end so bad. Because if you get hired to voice act in this game you're gonna eat good for years because bloody hell waiting around to go to the next objective but you can't because you have to wait for the quest giver to finish telling you their life story. The elements of the game such as different gun effects give flavour to the game. The environmental story telling is on point and you can tell that the devs have actually put effort into it but can sometimes be a let down with the constant yapping but other than that the game is good and the achievements are just easier with a guide. The DLC's are good, Love Guns And Tentacles is best played last cause bloody hell it's 8hrs long from start to finish including all the side quests and collectables. Krieg...

Man, I loved Borderlands 2 so much. I 100% the achievements on steam. I tried to like this game but every single cutscene and the dialogue is unbearable. I rather keep playing Borderlands 2 than a brand new game. So disappointed in this game. I really hope that they go back to make the characters and ESPECIALLY the villain better. Going from Handsome Jack to these cringy ass streamers is so embarrassing and they should have just reworked them.
