It feels like we're going the hipster way by choosing to praise "Square Brawl" out of all the big hitters that Landfall so consistently releases, but this is a very earnest review. We got this game a bit less than a decade ago. It wasn't a big hit, but it was surely a fun time. Simple at its core: choose two weapons (your strategy will drastically change depending on what you choose) and go brawl. It cuts to the chase and it delivers on what it promises: a thrilling battle that will have y'all laughing and holding your breath when you're one hit away from dying or winning. It's, simply put, a great local multiplayer game. Recently, we were choosing what to play during our lunch break and I suggested giving Square Brawl a go, and no matter how many years had passed since last time we played it, we found ourselves having a blast once again.
