Tons of fun, not taxing on the hardware so all your friends can play too! Extra bonus: Doesn't require installing a rootkit like Helldivers 2 that will eventually leak all your important information when it gets hacked.
when you play and random people report you and its just a button so no reason just push report and done than this damages the game because now you cant play and the game has snow which forces you to spend money and if you dont get the boot for snow youll never hear the end of it so yeah spend money to just get report by a no buddy just cause they can without reason or review is a moron move on a dev plain and simple without that trash programming code they put to be dumb it was fun key word was because games online mainly in order to do missions higher you go the more likely youll need someone then you got morons that r to dumb to put the game on private and then kick you when you join then 20 mins later dudes still solo because hes kicking players when he could go private game people make games more crap then they are do too the conduct on both devs and the public add them together and you got crap everywhere and sure thing i kept playing with hopes epic fail people telling what to d...
Nope. Not fun for me at all.

I tried to like it, but there are too many caveats IMHO.
No auto-reload option. Reloading too slow. Camera is bad. (too close, IMO) Minimap overlay not available. Character too often hard to see. Controller needed, KB+M is horrible. Weapons not fun. Can't pause on solo run.... Released in 2015, but feels like a pre-2010 free Flash game.
IMO, NOT WORTH IT UNLESS HEAVILY DISCOUNTED TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION.
There DEFINITELY are some positive points, but they don't outweigh the drawbacks I found. There are MUCH BETTER games of this genre out there. p.s. before anyone mentions this : my Steam playtime doesn't reflect my actual playtime. I played with a friend at his place a couple of times, but I just couldn't get into it. THOUGH, TO BE FAIR, it's WAY more fun playing with A PARTY OF FOUR.
If you enjoy local multiplayer experiences, you will absolutely love this game. It's probably my second favorite horde shooter behind Deep Rock Galactic, simply for how well it blends sheer chaos with teamwork, a match made in heaven for a couch co-op game. The variety of options the game gives you through the Stratagems (special weapons and ordnance you can call in during the game) is endless, and simultaneously gives you something to work towards by making them unlockable through completing missions. You can get the game and all of it's DLC for about $8 if you look out for sales, and it's an absolute steal. Invite a couple friends over to join you, and I guarantee you'll have fun. Just be ready for friendly fire more often than sometimes.
It' was not fun for me
tho not as popular as the sequel, i still think this helldivers 1 holds up amazingly
Mini helldivers 2
It's amazing. no bugs, no lag, chill atmosphere, fun as Hell, and enjoyable all around.
Unlike the sequel, this game doesn't have an out of date and God awful anti-cheat, so it's the morally superior game for that reason alone. Honestly with 2 existing I'm sure a lot of people will look at this like "Why should I try it tho?" and it's a fun title still. The overall top down angle, the art style and the UI give me happy vibes to the good ol' days of Alien Swarm, just obviously on a much grander and not bug exclusive scale. I'd PERSONALLY recommend waiting for it to go on discount so you can get the digital deluxe edition, which has all the DLC along with it. The base content is solid, don't get me wrong, but the DLCs add some really fun goodies to the game. (Pilot pack my beloved.)
