TL;DR - Unpolished game, poor mechanics, do not waste your time. Holycrap, where do I start with this mess? On the surface, this game appears really promising. The store page really sold me. The video looked interesting, the gameplay didn't seem original but atleast looked fun -- for $1.79 at 40% off, it was an easy decision. But a bad one. Lets start with the sound. The game advises you in the intro to wear headphones to better hear the midgets you need to avoid, but the bass gameside is cranked up so far that trying to hear anything ingame is impossible. I use G930's, and even with the bass turned into THE NEGATIVE, the crackling audio made the game nearly unbearable to play. I don't think it would matter anyway; from what I COULD hear of the midgets, it was very faint, if it was really what I heard at all. The bit of voiceacting that is in the beginning is cringeworthy, but this being an indie title it's expected. There are no options for the game whatsoever. The 'Options...

About This Game

In an unknown location out in the wilderness, a number of pregnant women are being held against their will in a facility in which everything is decorated in the style of a comforting living room to lull the women into a false sense of security so that they believe they’re in a safe spot.
The reality however, is much more hideous...
The women are in fact being monitored by a race of Little evil humanoids dressed head to toe in bright yellow robes. The humanoids want the babies for their heinous experiments, but you, as a mother, see no alternative but to take your own life to save your baby’s soul.
The game will begin with you in a room where you find a tape recorder with a woman’s voice on it, who was the previous inhabitant of the room before you.
The tape is a warning for other women who will be kidnapped, telling them what is going on and that she is going to kill herself before the evil little monsters burst through the door and take her baby.

* 2D sidescrolling search and find adventure
* Search for objects to escape the room and save your baby's soul
* Use the flashlight when the lights go out to scare of the evil little monsters
* Use a headset to know from which side the evil is coming
* Discover the truth behind the facility

Recorded message:
Whoever hears this message please listen carefully to this message...
This facility is not as it seems, there is evil in this place. There is no escape, they want to take your babies and use them for their evil experiments.
Don’t be fooled by the decor around you, they want you to feel like you’re in a safe place. The walls, rooms, paintings, sofas, and everything else is not real, they want you to feel at home but you aren’t, you’re in hell...
Be under no illusions, you will die one way or another. There is no escape, I’ve tried everything you could think of and as soon as they suspect something is up they’ll turn off the lights and enter the room.
There’s a reason they turn off the lights before they enter. The lights, they hurt their eyes, and by hurt, I mean they really hurt their eyes. Any light that you have, use it as it will keep them at a safe distance and may buy you some time.
The light can only buy you some time however, there is still no escape and no way out. The only way you can end the suffering and protect your unborn child is to take your own life before they get to you first.

"YOU FOUND NOTHING." Just like how you won't find any redeeming qualities out of this game, other than the B movie style poster on the store page, which was actually what sold me on this in the first place. Unpolished, unfinished, ugly as sin, and confusing as hell to play. Edit: Shoutout to Dan Avidan of GameGrumps for reading this review of the game during their Halloween episode! Sorry you guys glitched out on the tutorial, but it made for entertaining material at the very least.
Details

A horror game that is an affront only due to its own laziness.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=966193458 I don't mind the 'controversial' content; but frustrated that someone would put so much effort into a game then not bother to finish it. DO NOT BUY: IT ONLY HAS 3 MINUTES GAMEPLAY! Game cannot be completed. Author has admitted to me that this is the case in an email. Have reported to Steam to takedown until fixed, but they cannot. so now it is down to you: BOYCOTT THIS GAME. AVOID. NOT EVEN BAD-ITS-FUN. Games like this killed greenlight, so while authors post games like this and then refuse to fix citing poverty (meanwhile taking your money) it kills the industry! Content-wise, yeah it's waht it is, but it's the lack of love for the game that galls: HEY AUTHOR - 'FINISH THE GAME' and STOP COMPLAINING THAT YOU EXPECTED THIS GAME TO MAKE YOU MILLIONS! I do sympathise, but at least release a patch that fixes the game so it can...
Remember any of the crazy "midget"-themed horror movies of the late 70s, like David Cronenberg's "The Brood" and Don Coscarelli's "Phantasm"? Nope. Didn't think you would. But apparently the dev of this thoroughly loopy game does. Unfortunately, he seems to have overlooked the fact that those films, however bat-shit crazy, actually had PLOTS to speak of... Horror games frequently get derided for being little more than "key-finding" games. The Youthdrainers takes that phenomenon to new heights. Quite literally, the only thing that you appear to do (at least as far as I humoured the game) is search a room for a key, go through a door, and immediately start searching for a key to the NEXT door. That's it. And if you take too long searching, the lights go out, and you have to use your flashlight to keep the "evil midgets" at bay. Sounds easy enough, though, right? First problem: your topless bimbo character apparently can't work out how to shine a flashlight and walk at the same ti...
v bad
Interesting how I got banned for posting this in their forums: "Maybe Rotten Tomatoes needs a section dedicated to computer games." Evilized Productions, you guys are a real class act. I actually bought the game to see how bad it really was reported to be. Cons: 1. I could use the mouse to move the mouse cursor all over the menu screen but left click did NOTHING. 2. Selecting a menu item was done on accident by pressing the space bar. 3. Immediate full top nudity of a main character who actually looks like a 14 year old girl. 4. Controls cannot be changed. 5. Cannot use ESC (like any other game I have played) to get to the main menu. 6. It cost $3.00 more than it should have. Pros: 1. It only cost me $3.00 for a day (getting a refund) to make a comment they could not censor. This is an excellent example of a green lit game that should have been red lit. In fact they should make a new feature in Steam. I will call it the "Evilized Productions" feature in honor of these people who thoug...
i have played some truly terrible things in my life, up to and including ride to hell: retribution TO COMPLETION, but this one truly takes the cake. i don't know if it was the audio that sounded like someone was swallowing a microphone while riding a bicycle, or if it was the control scheme that was obviously designed by a toddler, but i lasted about 15 minutes. if that. also, seriously, why is she topless? 48 out of 55 people that i polled have deemed this the worst game ever. congratulations!
"Hey let's make this game with a HOT topless babe in itTTT" >Makes sprites scarier than the actual games
This is not really a game. It has potential. I don't recommend it because it doesn't seem like it would be worth it for a while. The search bar in game is WAY TOO fast. The only woman is hard to look at. The gameplay makes no sense.
its a shit game
