The atmosphere is spot-on, with creepy vibes, fun art, and cat placements that are just as clever as ever. What really stands out is the twist in mechanics: instead of just clicking cats, you need bullets to “shoot” them, which means managing resources as you sweep the screen. Run low and you’ll need to carefully re-hunt: adding a small but welcome layer of risk. Thankfully, hints recharge quickly, there’s no penalty for misclicks, and the game still delivers a good value for its price. That said, this is not the usual cozy hidden cat entry. Hunting zombie cats. Well, that could have actually been a good game. As mentioned, you're looking for zombie cats, just a (small) map, no hidden cats. There are a few houses where you can see through the walls. Oh, and the most annoying part: you need bullets. There are boxes of bullets lying around everywhere. As soon as your magazine is empty, you have to open a new box. What could have been done with this game? Tactical approach, missed shots, jump scares. But as it is, it's just one of countless Hidden Cats games that you can forget immediately.
