Trench Face is a really fascinating game! I recommend the game as it is fun with it's dismemberment styled combat that rewards removing each limb, it's simple but great story and is visually amazing, but there are issues with the game itself currently that I will include. 1: it's very easy to get lost and walk in circles looking for where you need to go next. unique props/landmarks could be added to help a player with navigating the environment that otherwise looks the same everywhere. if it's intended to be easy to get lost in, it's not at all fun. I ended up skipping some parts of each section (even if it had unique loot) simply because I couldn't be bothered to try and find it again. 2: a lack of enemy variety, this isn't a bad thing per say for the scale this game is, but you'll be fighting the exact same 2 enemies for most of the game with 2 more showing up only in the last area. even just 1 additional enemy type could help with this issue. 3: the gimmick for ending A's final b...

About This Game
Trench Face is an RPG Survival Horror game set in an alternate history.
You wake up hours after a battle without any knowledge on what happened since. The place is deserted with nothing but corpses and seemingly unexplainable objects moving high up in the sky. Your goal is to escape to the forest and regroup with your comrade's safety. You will find clues to what happened as you go on, and eventually understand why you're here, uncovering the mystery.
The game features turn based combat where one turn can be the difference between life and death. You're frail to the monsters opposing you, but you have many tools to help with your survival if you're put in that position. Attacks work with a timed attack system where you need to aim and hit them at the right time to land your hits. Guns also allow for individual aiming for enemy limbs, such as using 3 bullets at once to hit 3 different limbs.
Make good use of all your resources, as they run out quick, and you don't want to be caught without ways to defend yourself. If you do run out, you can always search of any scraps left behind. You can use scraps to craft items, such as ammo, or healing items.
You are not a hero. Your enemies will make quick work of you, unless you're smart on how to go about each encounter. You can always use stealth to hide from enemies looking for you, potentially being able to avoid almost most of them if you know what you're doing.
The trenches are filled with secrets, and resources. You can find shortcuts, or rooms to be unlocked later on for more loot. The hanging figures patrol these areas looking for you, with different movement patterns depending on which monster it is. The best option in patrolling these areas is to scavenge for supplies and avoid anyone if possible.
All the enemies have their own strengths and weaknesses. You can use puzzle like problem solving to know how to deal with each one of them in the most resourceful ways. Once a fight starts there is no running away, so you better be prepared if you're thinking of starting something.
There are 3 initial classes, which you select one of at the start of a new game.
The Raider - Focus on close quarters combat
The Sniper - Good with gun management
The Medic - Learn how to craft healing items

I like the music and artstyle
noise game
Combat is much like fear and hunger which i love. The story and art style really drew me in. I have not completed it yet but so far I am liking it a lot. Only issue I have so far is that its easy to get lost but then again maybe thats the point.
