Ashen Vow

The world of Ashen Vow evokes the dark, haunting atmosphere of Christian Medieval Europe. You play as a knight watch guard who uncovers an evil that was never meant to be found. The priests within this castle no longer follow the teachings you learned as a child. Has God truly led these holy men astray, or has a far darker force infiltrated the faith of those who devoted their lives to it?

Combat: Armed with only a sword and shield, you must master both offense and defense. Chain sword combos, time your shield deflections, and pray at holy altars to enhance your prowess and unlock new skills.

Horror: There is no sprint button in Ashen Vow. If you can’t win the fight, you lose the war. Playing as a medieval knight has never felt more terrifying. Your health only regenerates after combat, forcing you to survive with what little you have.

Death is not the end: Falling in battle sends your soul to a nightmarish otherworld, where each stage offers unique gameplay twists and unsettling lore. The Black Maw is twisting your once sacred castle into a living hell. To end it, you must face the horrors that broke your brothers and sisters in arms without becoming one of them.

Ashen Vow is both strict and fluid. Beyond mastering combat, you must navigate a shifting castle filled with deadly traps and mind bending puzzles. Along the way, interact with scattered survivors, guiding them, protecting them, and enlisting their aid in your search for the Black Maw. Restore the castle and its people to the holy spirit of God before all is lost.
