This game is terribly optimized. There is no way a DX9 game from 2015 should be constantly dropping frames with an RTX4080. As others have reported in the Steam discussions, I experienced constant frame rate drops in 4k resolution no matter what I selected in the graphic options. This was especially bad in the cinematics and the Goliath boss battle section where the frame rate was constantly dropping into the 30s-40s. Another major issue with this game is the horrible save function. Even though you can click to save during a level, the game doesn't actually save. If you have to quit playing and then return, you are forced to restart the entire level with respawned enemies. Another problem with this game is that your characters often get stuck in the terrain such as on a simple rock where you need to restart the level.
