About This Game

Silent Still 2 is a first-person psychological horror game that explores the unsettling experience of sleep paralysis. Instead of relying on loud noises or constant jump scares, the game focuses on the quiet, creeping fear that comes from being trapped between dreaming and waking.

You play as someone caught in the terrifying state of being unable to move, speak, or escape while strange and unsettling things unfold around you. Every shadow, sound, and breath adds to the tension, creating the feeling that something is watching—something you can’t quite see, but you know is there.

This is not a game about cheap scares. It’s about slow-building dread, the kind that lingers, where the line between reality and nightmare starts to blur.

Are you sure what you’re seeing isn’t real?

Different Scenarios:

The game is divided into three chapters, each presenting a different type of sleep paralysis experience. As you progress, you’ll slowly uncover the mystery and hidden truths surrounding the protagonist in each chapter

Gameplay: 40 - 60 minutes only

Game Features:

 • Photorealistic Graphics

 • High-Quality 3D Audio

 • Deep, Tense Atmosphere

 • Intriguing, Unfolding Story

 • Realistic, Grounded Gameplay

 • Multiple Sleep Paralysis Scenarios

 • Minimal UI for Full Immersion

TLDR: short, sitting sim, peeing sim, BAH jumpscare, don't buy 5 buck for a 45 minuet game where you just whip the mouse around and stuff happens, also had a whole like 2 minuet peeing segment? Mic feature is a cool idea but overall pointless, The "pacing" is literally just you sitting waiting for something to happen which, imo, took away from any potential scare to hit. For a game that "doesn't rely on cheap jumpscares" thats all there was. AND THEN THEY SAY " oh hey thanks for playing, our house burned down and we lost everything :)" just to keep you from refunding the game. IDK if its true, if it is I'm really sorry and I hope you get back on your feet, but at the same time I cannot endorse this game for people to spend money on.

the sort of game you'd rather watch a streamer waste their time and money on than play yourself. terrible optimization. no option to change anything useful. "waiting simulator" is a perfect description for this. i've never refunded a game in all my years on here, but i will refund this game. save your time and money, folks. just watch someone play it.

This game was such an immediate no that Steam wouldn't let me review it until I padded for more playtime. The controls are unbelievably bad, your flashlight is about 3x more sensitive than your actual camera is and the camera itself is pretty damn sensitive. And the only settings in game are resolution, full screen, and graphics quality. There's not even sound settings! Let alone a controls tab to check if you missed the quick flash they give you at the beginning. And this is somehow the 5th game these people have published?? Genuinely don't waste your money, get anything else.

Was disappointed in this game. Overall graphics but the ghost model looked out of place. Silent Still 1 scared the crap out of me, but I found myself bored in this. The intense waiting was scarier than the jump scares because the ghost looked so out of place. I really wanted to enjoy it, but compared to the first, it just didnt hold up.

I dont think the devs house burning down has any effect on their ability to create good games.

I’ve never been more bored of a game in my life I actually feel like I was robbed of all emotions and my money I would’ve donated the money I spent on this dog trash game to like the Mr beast water thing if I knew how boring this crap was

After playing the first game I was hoping the second would really improve on it. Again the visuals, sounds, and atmosphere are really good. The jump scares where good as well. The game still lacks settings for sound and sensitivity which would have slightly improved the quality of life. It has a sprint feature now but in my opinion the sprint speed is what normal walking speed should be and then faster for sprint. Again a quality of life thing. The concept of these two games seemed cool but in the way it was made it just makes for a lackluster game. The game takes way too long to progress and in hindsight they feel like waiting simulators more then walking simulators. It wouldn't take a lot to make these games a lot more enjoyable. $5 isn't a bad price but I think a lot of people wont finish the game and get their money worth.
