You may get a white screen on start up I found the solution go into the local files and open the Enigine.ini file and look for the code line <IsIntro> to 0, it will be 1 and save this will solve your issue if you don't wanna mess with anything more but..... Also find code lines <ScreenXSize></> <ScreenYSize> And change the numbers to <ScreenXSize>2560</> <ScreenYSize>1440 and save this will give you a way better resolution, you can change it to whatever resolution you want but I know this works well and can't recommend anything higher it may work fine at higher resolutions but I haven't tried and barely understand this but it work. I loved this game as a kid especially the Indians had a lot of fun definitely recommend.

Nostalgic game. Most people are probably buying it to own it. The playable modes are campaign with 3 parts, mostly enjoyable experience, and skirmish VS AI which is probably weak for modern RTS players. The game was heavily 'ahoy', 'yo ho ho' -ed thus it was great experience. Showcases inovative mechanics, but comparable to age of empires III for the feel. The game will either run, or you will have to tweak it like with dxvodoo or some other tool. Definietely edit Engine.ini file -><ScreenXSize>2560</><ScreenYSize>1440</> for more decent resolution, probably best to stick to FHD resolutions.

dont re-release the game without making it actually work on windows All the manual fixes by modders did help somewhat, however the game freezes during the first millisecond of gameplay
