not very fun, it has been a long time since the last update and while i would love to play it when i was a child it has been a long time and watching something is completely different from actually playing it. but for who actually likes games in this style it might be worthy, just not for me
It's been most enjoyable so far. Lots of intricate systems, challenges and my personal favorite, LOOT! Haha, catching/taming creatures is a neat touch. In all, to me, it feels like elements of Terraria, ARK and even Borderlands(the loot drops specifically make me think of borderlands) but mostly if Terraria and ARK had a baby BAM Planet Centauri. My only hope, after reading the other reviews is that there is more to come and that this isn't an abandoned project. Nothing worse than getting your main course at dinner and it tastes AMAZING but it's not as much as you'd hoped for. I'm hungry for more!
I don't review games often, but I have put 7 hours into this so far and I wanted to give it a positive rating. It's clear that a lot of love has gone into this game. I have barely scratched the surface of what it seems to be able to allow, but so far, I've really enjoyed it. I like the dungeon concept, and it does have a Terraria feel with a twist. You can get different character abilities by leveling up using "monster souls" from slaying baddies in the game, which is really cool and unique. Also, each time you consume a new food item, you get select permanent stat increases for the first time on consumption. I thought that was really neat, too! I had this game on my wishlist for several years before biting the bullet recently to play it. The tutorial is a little confusing in the sense that it doesn't have any words but it's just pictographs--but I don't think it necessarily takes an Einstein to figure them out unless you are completely new to this style of game. Very complete game, lots of bosses and sistems to explore and try out. It really is surprisingly deep, however is still a little bit rough around the edges. There is no wiki for it so asking around the discord server and looking up on youtube are a must, but if you dont mind games that make you read some in-game tutorials, or like terraria that sort of require you to check info every once in a while this one is treat.
