This one was a rough play. There was no real sense of tension or fear at all. The entity presented towards the climax is an extremely goofy goober, it's hard not to find it quite funny. This isn't the worst indie horror game out there but if you have ANYTHING else you're debating, go with that instead. 4/10 for an indie horror, 1/10 for a regular game. Rough ride.

This was a nice indie horror game. It has a good story and it took me about 1 hour to beat. The atmosphere and the way the game was made reminded me of the fears to fathom game series. Its not a super fancy game but what it does it does fairly well I thought. I ran into 1 glitch in the house after I pushed the bookshelf I wasn't able to use the mouse to turn around until I left to main menu and reloaded last save point. Overall I thought this was a fun game and certainly worth the $3 price tag. It had some good jump scares and most of the game it made me wonder when the monster was going to show up next. For me the biggest con was at times in the woods it was really hard to see but maybe that was the intent at those points. Pick this game up and give it a play through. If you already have seen the game you can probably beat it in 45 minutes. If you want to see my play through you can watch it here https://youtu.be/6PnccZsHTHU

The Last Ski Trip, an indie horror adventure from Fireplay Studio, follows a protagonist heading to a snowy mountain resort for a ski getaway with friends, only to find it abandoned and full of eerie secrets. It's a first-person exploration game with puzzle elements and light horror, but it's not a top-level horror experience more of a mild chiller with some jump scares and atmospheric tension. The gameplay is somewhat okay, graphics are fine, and overall, it's a short, nice game that keeps you entertained about 1 hour. If you're looking for a quick indie diversion without high expectations, it fits the bill, but don't expect a standout in the genre. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKzAf2clguQ

In short, the game is crap. Pros: - Very well-executed sound effects for the environment, world, screams, etc. Cons: - Texture quality - Optimization - the world loads before your eyes, and frame drops are common, along with frequent loading screens. - Animations - characters clip into textures, and the animations are clunky and unpleasant to the eye. - Lighting - the biggest problem with this game. The flashlight completely overexposes the lit area, and if you start shining it in a dark place, like a cave, it will start leaving huge black holes for about 5 seconds. - The plot is incredibly boring and predictable. Final review: 3/10

This game is absolutely petrifying! Everything from the sound design to the gameplay to how the store unfolds is absolutely perfect! I play a ton of horror games and this one was actually scary. While I was playing this I was thinking about how not a single scene in Resident Evil Village was really scary ( even though I love that game ) and this indie game was so much more petrifying than a triple A horror game! Good job to the developers of this game. You made a fantastic horror game experience.
