The first game developed by myself, Dark Grid is a 2D game with survival and exploration as its main gameplay.
When you wake up, the world is already like this: eternal night, endless darkness. You don't know what happened, but you don't have time to think too much. Hunger and various pressures come rushing towards you, and you need to survive first.
At the same time, there are two strange sounds constantly surrounding you, a self proclaimed "friend" who will occasionally come to "visit" you; The other claims to be the 'Dark Lord' and provides you with dark abilities, seemingly with intentions towards you.
The main gameplay of the game is Survival + Exploration. You will explore a world composed of grids, collect discovered food and resources, fill your stomach, maintain the illumination of the luminous tower, and don't let it go out.
The darkness in the game follows like a shadow, it exists everywhere: the places you haven't explored, the places you have already walked. Only light can dispel darkness, only the Luminous Tower is an eternal home.
Games can utilize resources to build various types of buildings, which can help you survive better in this cruel world. As the game progresses, you will acquire a variety of buildings.
