After losing his wife and son in a tragic accident and then his daughter to a brain hemorrhage, Max has nothing left to live for. All he has is a mission, a place, and secrets buried in the dark.

Max was an ordinary man. After losing his family in a tragic accident, he took security jobs in bars to support his daughter and learned how to handle weapons. Later, he survived through hunting. When offered a government-funded exploration mission by a geologist named Alice, he initially refused. But after the death of his daughter, he had nothing left to lose.
Without realizing it, he was being drawn into Ralkoz. This journey would not only change his destiny but also the destinies of those who had come to Ralkoz before him.
In the end, he would discover the deepest secret of Ralkoz — and the one thing that should never be done.
