Didn't like the graphics but thought the game design and mechanics might be good. Well they weren't.

Big improvements from the first game. I enjoy controlling more than four marines and the new skill system gives each run more variance. The portraits you can assign to your marines are gorgeous and makes you more invested in them not dying. After a few hours of play I experienced one bug but it was minor involving a marines action points not displaying correctly after I started on a new planet and it was fixed after switching to another marine and back again. There is a weird mechanic where opening doors has certain effects depending on the class of the marine that opened it. I think it's weird and not realistic but I found myself spending more time thinking about exactly hiw I wanted to move my team. This doesn't appeal to me that much but you can ignore it if you want all the door stuff is only beneficial to you. The easy difficulty option is imo a lot easier than the easy difficulty from the first game. If you're not a beginner to tactics games I recommend starting a bit higher up...
Really fun game with a lot of character customization, multiple classes with unique abilities/upgrade paths, and lots of different possible playstyles. I've played mostly on some of the lower difficulty levels, which probably allowed me to progress further than I would have otherwise thanks to permadeath. On lower difficulty, you can freely explore and blow up aliens and robots at your leisure, while learning the game mechanics and picking up tips that will save your bacon when you ramp up the difficulty (Oh, you used your last action point to move around a corner and ran into a Ripsaw? RIP. Hopefully your replacement marine will have learned from its predecessor). Particularly enjoyed some of the features that I haven't really seen before in other games, notably, a unique class effect that grants different benefits upon breaching entryways, which gives a lot of additional complexity and strategic possibilities, and the randomized (and often hilarious) effect at the beginning of each ...
This is still Early. I think The Guy not playing Steam Marines 1 will not be satisfied for Game Volume of current version on this price , I mean 25$ around. But you know , This is Early and Steam Marines is one of most success case of Early access and I was playeding Steam Marines 1 , So , I'm really exciting for this game and knowing What This game Aiming to. So I think , We must remind , What "Early Access" meaning. and you know I just really thrilling about if someone forget that. I'm happy to pay 25$ for this real countable game! But You guys must remember before buying this game , This is Early Access. And you must remember True Early Access meaning! you know. but this game will be great! I proud own this game in this moment, I meaning time and space! you know
NOTE: THIS IS AN EARLY ACCESS GAME IN NEED OF IMPROVEMENT. ONLY BUY WHEN ON SALE (WHY CANT WE JUST GIVE STAR RATINGS 1-10 OR SOMETHING?) I give this game 5 out of 10 stars. If it were possible. I got it on sale its very good otherwise. Kinda like Space crusade space hulk and needs improvement. But its getting better. The missions are random and generated and so are the maps so no one game is the same. Pretty much. I'll give a better rating later after its progressed.
