as a beginner at chess, this game was really accommodating and easy to get in to. i'm not usually into chess like that, but the puzzle aspects and the explanations really help with the overall enjoyment of the game. the art style is super cute and i like meeting new characters. if you like chess or just want a cute game to explore, i would definitely recommend :)!

This game can easily reel you in. Super fun with a Pokemon battle style to it, which got me engaged right off the bat. The Texas theme is on point and gives the game a great vibe. I am not good at chess, so the difficulty setting is huge for me. Each battle is different so you're constantly intrigued and improving strategy. The towns are great and the NPCs are interactive giving you hints and other items. Entertaining and enjoyable chess game to keep you on point!

This is such a fun and thought-provoking game to play. I love it. I've grown up playing Pokémon my whole life, and when I saw this game, it brought back so much nostalgia with its gameplay and animation. If you want a game to practice your chess skills while also exploring the wild west, this is it. P.S I love the wild west music and the character voices :)

Charming game that is a blast for chess players. World and NPC's feel pokemon like, while offering a unique twist on chess puzzles. Bots can be challenging at times (1300 elo on standard chess) which pushes you to improve on your skills or strategically use your items to make progress. On top of all of this, the art is charming and has a soundtrack to match. Some of the dialogue has gotten genuine laughs from me, you can tell a lot of love went into this game. Overall, I would recommend it if you love chess puzzles and variants and want a game that challenges you to be a better chess player.

Super neat concept for a pokemon esk chess game. I've been wishing I had something EXACTLY like this to play for a while. Hope to see more things added over time to it :)

So far, the game is immersive and a blast to play. Nothing beats serving those McNasty checkmates while Levy Rozman yells, “And he sacrificed the ROOOK!”

This is a good game to learn how to play chess strategically. I tried the advanced version, and it did not disappoint! I am still working to beat it since it is very challenging. Recommended for those who love chess in an RPG-setting!
