OVERVIEW

About the Game

Death Is Not an Escape.

Trapped forever in a realm of eldritch evil where even death is not an escape, four determined Survivors face a bloodthirsty Killer in a vicious game of nerve and wits. Pick a side and step into a world of tension and terror with horror gaming's best asymmetrical multiplayer.

Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey.

The Survivors' goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer - something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.

Key Features

Survive Together… Or Not - Survivors can either cooperate with the others or be selfish. Your chance of survival will vary depending on whether you work together as a team or if you go at it alone. Will you be able to outwit the Killer and escape their Killing Ground?

Where Am I? - Each level is procedurally generated, so you’ll never know what to expect. Random spawn points mean you will never feel safe as the world and its danger change every time you play.

A Feast for Killers - Dead by Daylight draws from all corners of the horror world. As a Killer you can play as anything from a powerful Slasher to terrifying paranormal entities. Familiarize yourself with your Killing Grounds and master each Killer’s unique power to be able to hunt, catch and sacrifice your victims.

Deeper and Deeper - Each Killer and Survivor has their own deep progression system and plenty of unlockables that can be customized to fit your own personal strategy. Experience, skills and understanding of the environment are key to being able to hunt or outwit the Killer.

Real People, Real Fear - The procedural levels and real human reactions to pure horror makes each game session an unexpected scenario. You will never be able to tell how it’s going to turn out. Ambience, music, and chilling environments combine into a terrifying experience. With enough time, you might even discover what’s hiding in the fog.

The newest update that came with the walking dead DLC is an absolute joke. Here is a few bugs i've encountered: - smoke bombs completely break chase so you wont get bloodlust or if you have an active reverse bear trap the pig can "chase" you without the timer stopping -killers have broken animations such as spirit -some perks are bugged to the point that they allow you to do game breaking things -desync issues where survivors appear to teleport few meters when stopping repairing a gen for example -one thing as simple as a texture floating in the loading screen (how on earth did this go unnoticed on QA testing) -voice acting for new characters is broken, injured sounds are not performed by same actors (unclear if this is intentional) This update should've been delayed, like how do you approve launching a broken update for a prolific game like dbd Very embarrassing look for the company and the game.

After the Chandler Riggs stream the devs have ousted themselves as an absolute cluster cluck of a team. Absolutely double, triple downed on their own arrogance that ultimately prevented a proven workaround to a game-breaking DDOS issue with the game. This is only the cherry on top of a looooooooooooonnng history of absolute foolishness from this company. Save yourself from this game, absolutely not worth it. P.S. Devs if you're reading this you'll NEVER get labor of love

If the bugs that break the game aren't worth killswitching because it's not hurting the one side you like, then the game ain't worth playing

The developers have biblical levels of greed and hubris, and it seems to continue on this path. If you dont have the game, keep it that way. If you already bought it, i recommend avoiding spending any more money on this as much as possible. Your money is your vote, the skins can wait until they decide to do their jobs. Refusing to trust your biggest content creator to fix a promotional stream that could have been a really fun event for everyone just shows how much the dev team wants to die on this hill. The apology was made only after the community erupted in flames. I wish there was a lack of labor award to give to these people.

This game has the worst developers I have ever seen in a video game. Blatant incompetency at all levels. Most recently, they have refused to use their readily available killswitch to disable a bugged passive ability that completely destroys any semblance of balance this game has.

Operation Health, has been a complete and total failure. And my optimism for it's goal has completely vanished after the release of the Walking Dead chapter. The game itself has been plagued with poor balancing decisions, an incredible amount of bugs, poor optimisation, hacking and security related issues, and to top it all off: Lies and ignorance from the developer team itself. I do not think I've ever played a game where the developers are busy working on damage control with their community more so than their actual game. And even then, they are so complacent and out of touch with their community, that they seem to dismiss them on such a regular basis. As a result, the more popular of their content creators have either left their partnerships with BHVR Interactive, or have given up entirely on attempting to communicate with them in order to suggest better features or balancing for the game. Otzdarva and SpookyLoopz just to name two, don't even try anymore, with Otzdarva barely being...

''Streetwise does not meet the criteria for a Kill Switch. it sucks to have to say that that plainlyt, as the last thing I want to do is minimize player concerns or frustrations. The team is aware, it's being monitored, but it is not breaking the game.'' and the game is still buged thanks Behaviour.
Dead by Daylight — Is It Worth a Try?
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric multiplayer horror: one player becomes the killer, while four others must survive and escape. The tension and fear make every match unpredictable, especially in the beginning.
Pros:
- Unique gameplay — almost no other game offers a similar format. - Large roster of characters and maps, with frequent updates and new chapters. - At first, the game delivers intense adrenaline and emotions, but after 200–300 hours this feeling slowly fades.
Cons:
- Toxic community — one of the most common complaints among players. - Harsh for newcomers: the game doesn’t explain mechanics well, so beginners often make mistakes (using perks at the wrong time, exposing themselves too early, rescuing teammates when it’s risky). Experienced players punish these mistakes without mercy — killers easily find and eliminate new survivors, whil...
