Anime inspired shogun showdown. 4 playable characters, skill animations look fantastic. Skills use energy. You can use a turn to charge energy. A run consists of 7 maps and a boss, each map is 7 minutes. At the start of each map you can pick a character and you start at level 1. During the map you level up, pick skills, and upgrade skills. You can carry 4 skills at a time. Each character has 8 from what I've seen so far. The shop shows up many times during a map, where you can purchase health, consumables, and upgrade class specific perks. It's been fun so far, have beat 2 maps and used 2 characters. Will update after more game play.

User Reviews
Haven’t played much, but the game is great so far. Very impressed with the polish. Everything (buttons, items, attacks, etc.) works exactly as I felt it should - second nature after a short (failed) run. I’m not into anime, but the art and effects are stellar. I like how differently-behaving the player characters are, despite it all being the same actions. I usually dislike timed games, but the timer on this game seems lenient enough, based on how far I got, and I don’t see it as being too restrictive, tho I’m sure in later difficulties it is. Fun game with good mechanics! Def check out if you like Shogun Shodown, or any other deck building/tactical roguelike with great pixel art.
