I really wish there was a neutral option for steam. Rotten Crop has an interesting concept and the visuals match the vibe of the story. The only issue I really had was it is extremely difficult to not get spotted in the cornfield. The line of sight of the officers are the same as the one patrolling your home, so due to this, you cannot see them quick enough and end up getting spotted without being able to see them yourself. Overall I would really like to like this game, but due to the slow movement and quick time to get spotted, I had gotten too frustrated to finish the final week (level). If you like PSX graphics and a concept that isn't too in depth but interesting I recommend you give it a chance. Maybe you'll be able to stick with it to see the ending.

User Reviews
This game is horrible for the main reason being that you can only walk and the other reason being that you get spotted out of nowhere and the police have super vision and can see you out of their line of sight or through the wheat field. The thing I don't understand is why no run mechanic was added to the game when you NEED to AVOID the cops patrolling around or why the line of sight of the officers was not tweaked to where it is to the point of seeing you out of nowhere. The game is well designed in some aspects beyond those two things but it feels like the dev didn't play test the game for quality https://youtu.be/6Qo3irRFR3o
I really gave this a shot and it started really strong and promising but the gameplay loop ended up being more of a chore than an actual game? idk if you are just going to respond and say skill issue like the last guy but i really genuinely gave this a chance. but seeing you respond to the reviews with "get good" / "skill issue" is a little uninspiring and in poor taste. this really had a chance of being cool and i appreciated the time and detail put into it. until i read the response to the review that honestly has some good criticism that was similar to what i was going to say. anyways might just be a "skill issue".
Game delivers what it presents. An interesting and difficult puzzle is always a massive plus from these indie horror games. Reviews complaining about difficulty = complete skill issue.
Nope this game is so bad.
Seems like an interesting baby of cozy farming games and indie horror oneshots. There is some repetition during the weeks, but I enjoyed progression during increasing difficulty - you always have to learn something new, while drinking coffee and shattering the beer at any opportunity ahah Overall, it's a solid oneshot horror game, but honestly it demands a sequel where it blends its gameplay with some actual farming and lore exploring
A pretty solid indie survival game. The atmosphere really brings back the vibe of old-school pixel horror — instantly gripping and immersive. The lack of any kind of tutorial or intro was a bit disorienting at first and slowed down the gameplay for me, but once I figured things out, I started to really enjoy it. I especially want to highlight the tense and immersive ambient soundtrack — it does a great job of building atmosphere. Interacting with items is also surprisingly fun and adds a nice layer of engagement.
A good solid horror for a couple of hours. I recommend it
