About This Game
You are an angler haunted by huge debts. In the midst of yet another night working at sea, you catch something different: a fish which talks, and promises to make you rich... but at what cost?
Features
A brief (around 30 minutes) fishing horror game about debt and hopelessness. Enjoy a twisted cautionary tale in one sitting.
Underwater eye-cam. Watch the fish biting the lure, then retrieve it as fast as you can. Be careful though: something else may be watching you as well...
Fish and gut. Fly-fish like a pro, then gut your catch to keep 'em fresh. Be careful with the knife though: you don't want to cut yourself.
The talking fish wants a deal. Consider the alluring promises of this mysterious being through surreal dialogues and twisted choices.
The loan shark is coming. This is no relaxing cozy fishing experience. Your time is running out, and something horrible lurks in the water.

Good game but need more endings. Yeah the moral of the story is important but there should be a way to get to different outcomes. I liked the fishing part but it could be more in depth :) Upgrades to the ship or to the fishing pole with more dept sounds cool yeah ? Good game for a small price
If you're going to make a short but sweet horror fishing game, it has to be both short AND sweet. Sweet it is not. While the game is rudimentary enough to figure things out on your own, there is no tutorial or explanation of the controls to understand what the mechanisms of action are. Simple things like do you click and hold to reel in or click rapidly? Do you have to click at all to filet the fish? Literally a single sentence would save a couple minutes of trial and error. I know a couple minutes doesn't sound like a lot, but the game takes about 40 minutes to beat, so those couple minutes are a larger chunk of your playtime per capita. The fishing is hardly even a minigame; you ultimately just wait for a fish to get on the line and hold the mouse button when tension is low. There is no other interaction at all. Gutting is just moving your mouse along the fish. Sadly, that's probably the worst part of the game because it's so janky. Half the time my knife was clipping under the fil...
Its good, But i want a freeplay mode with random fish values but random scary fish
Fun bite sized horror game, worth the price! Played it on Steam Deck without issues.
Horror fishing is my favorite subgenre, and this one just jumped to the top of my favorites list. Plays great on Steam Deck. “The real treasure were the fish we met along the way.”
This is well worth the money. Its a nice little pseudo-horror game that makes you think a little bit. Its super eerie and i like the fact that it has an actual shark tailing you. All in all I recommend it to anyone, most people would enjoy it.
For this price, you should absolutely play this. This game game gets better the less you know about it going in. you have nothing to loss, sense the game takes only about an hour to beat and you can still refund it after you beat it if you dont like it. Me personally, I didnt refund because I respect the creator. Buy it. You wont regret it.
It a decent little short story, fish gutting is a little wonky and sometimes my knife would disappear entirely into the board so I couldn't see it at all but it's not bad overall. If you're like me and want to see all the possible dialogue its a bit of a pain to wait 45 minutes 3 different times to get like 3 different sentences, so I'd say its not worth it to see the "different endings" for not paying back the loan shark, just get all the achievements if you want to see everything the game has to offer, all the different dialogue doesn't add too much to the experience.
7/10 | Creepy | Atmospheric | Terrifying. Disclaimer: IF you have a fear of the ocean this will DEFINITELY make you uncomfortable at the very least. (I felt super freaked out during this. It was great!) This game is a very basic yet enjoyable process of being a fisherman however knowing that you're technically not alone is unnerving and anxiety inducing. It's a small playthrough but filled with jumpscares, atmospheric ambience & genuine horror for those afraid of the ocean and what's beneath. The story was quite fun to experience and this game is perfect for a YouTube video or a short stream as a content creator. I'd definitely be rating this higher IF it was slightly longer AND if we had multiple ending's but I am definitely a supporter of this project. This game is VERY short so please do keep that in mind before purchasing it. Sadly no multiple ending's despite ALL of us craving and asking for more. I can only hope one day they'll add additional content, it's early days. Maybe w...
