Rat`s lair is a horror game that combines elements of sandbox, horror, stealth, puzzle and a small open world in which you will need to enter the lair of a local creature that has settled in an abandoned suburb.

Smart AI

You will be opposed by AI that will adapt to your playstyle, go about its daily routine, check every nook and cranny of its lair, react to sounds, or set various traps for you.

Sandbox

On the map you can find dozens of different items that directly interact with the player, your enemy, and the world around you. The game provides different methods of completing it and offers some alternative ways to find similar items.

Realtime changing

As you progress through the game, the map can change dynamically depending on your actions and play style. It is not always possible to find an object in the same place.

The game has a system of time change, so stock up on flashlights

Pazzles

To complete the game, you will have to solve simple puzzles that sometimes require the use of objects in the correct sequence, finding keys, attentiveness, or a creative approach

Open World

The game contains a fragment of an abandoned suburb, where you can move freely and explore points of interest that may contain useful items for the player.

Short and sweet. Genuinely Had fun playing this. Good number of secrets, each new run there will be a chance you get the key Items where you want or they will be hidden somewhere they weren't in the previous run so its Re-playable. Great game for speed-running, Great tutorial, Great Atmosphere. seems very inspired by Hello neighbour. Hoping more people find this.

I liked the fact that each new run is a little different - the items can be in different places, so it's interesting to play through the game. The atmosphere is cool, you can always feel the tension, especially when AI starts looking for you and checking every corner. I love games where you can experiment with objects and look for different ways to get through. There is a lot of this here - a lot of things you can use, traps, secret places. Plus, it's interesting how the map changes in real time depending on your actions. You can feel the inspiration from Hello Neighbour, but Rats Lair has its own style and features. It's perfect for fans of stealth and horror games. I want more people to know about the game - it's worth it!
