Its a bit shit not gonna lie, the way you collect resources is terrible, there really isn't any goal, there's a bot that just keeps telling you to build a base and gives you a little schematic of it and once you put all the blocks in it turns into a part of a "base". there's also a giant skull which you can phase right through cause i guess they forgot to put a collider parameter on it. I cant even recommend this at regular price. I think Free would be more fair for this game.

About This Game
Evolvion is a concept game where community drives the development. For that reason, game is released with only bare-bones mechanics and without polished graphics. But the main gameplay mechanics are here.
Community-driven ever-evolving game
The major selling point of Evolvion is that its release is just the beginning of development. On release, game will have only the core mechanics ready to be shaped and evolved into whatever comes out from the community. There will be discussions and polls (Steam forum and discord) and what comes out as the best idea goes into the development oven. This includes new features as well as bug fixing and introduction of new content.
Of course, some vision exist, for example:
Let's keep the setting sci-fi
World is persistent
Players cooperate to achieve common goals
Persistent world
Every change in the world is persisted on the server. Your effort is never lost as what you achieve today will be visible for the days to come.
Multiplayer cooperation
Unlike most games focused on competition between players, Evolvion focuses on cooperation between players aiming for the common goals. This brings the feeling of belonging through goal-oriented social interaction but without the pressure of competition.
Build
No better way to express ones creativity then to build structures that have a function in the world.
Interact with the world
Collect resources, solve puzzles, explore... possibilities are endless.
Starting point
But let's get back to the release which is aimed to happen before summer 2025.
Mechanics are already there. Players can pickup a name and join the server. They are assigned an animated character that can walk, run and jump. Player can collect randomly spawned items granting them resources. Player can build cubes. More players can be on the server at the same time and everything is persisted on the server.
Even though it's very tempting to beautify the game, we are keeping the things blank intentionally and eagerly waiting to start the journey together on release day.
