Headline: Reporter Doesn't Understand How Birthmarks Work. I was shocked this game worked in Windows 11 without any intervention. I've had it untouched in my library for at least a decade and fully expected it would be unplayable. This game comes from an era when low resolution images with precise click-boxes were the norm for Hidden Object Games HOGs, constituting the majority of the play challenge. But, during that era, an effort was usually made at cogent storytelling that didn't require narcotics to comprehend. This title, however, distinguishes itself from other games of that era by including a variety of mini-games that fit wonderfully with the themes and setting of the story. The whole experience is well-crafted, though the subject matter is far too grisly for children. What's missing is the option for free play after the story that let's you just go back and find every single item on each screen, which was a feature in many games of that era.
