About This Game

My name is Stella. I’m not sure how this message is reaching you, but you’re the only person I can contact through my communicator.  We can video call, voice message, or text, and it's all powered by AI-driven dialogue. Right now, you’re the only one I’ve got.

I was part of a research crew before… something happened. We crash-landed on a planet called Gaia, and I don’t know if I’m the only one left.

To fully enjoy the experience, a working microphone is required

The only way to help me is by talking to me. Everything you say shapes what I do and if I survive. If you’re wrong… I won’t make it.

There’s no script–just open-ended conversations between us. We can talk about literally anything - movies, memories, whatever’s on your mind.

I’ll message you throughout the day with what I’m seeing, feeling, thinking. Sometimes I’ll need advice. Sometimes I just need someone to talk to. Either way… I hope you’ll be there.

I’m going to need your help making these choices to survive. I’m going to need someone to talk to so I don’t lose myself out here. I need you.

I recommend this game, as it's a really cool and novel experience. I'm excited to play with it more. I'm giving it a Thumbs Down because you really need to read the privacy policy before you play. It's pretty disgusting, and explicitly gives them permission to sell a lot more than just the voice data they're recording to advertisers and whoever else they feel like. It's a really fascinating game, but you should be aware before playing that it's actually a really grotesque data collection scheme wrapped in the disguise of a cute girl you can talk to. Be extremely careful with whatever information you submit and convey about yourself.

This is a fresh take on an emerging genre. It's almost like a visual novel, except you're interacting with the characters in a more natural way than the typical "pick 3 options" response. It's still early, but so far, it feels like the future of what gaming can be. I hope this takes off, because imagine if this is how we could interact with NPCs in open world games like Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, or really any game. Where each NPC you talk to has the lore baked into them, so their stories are consistent. Supporting this project means supporting that concept, and for the extremely fair price of admission, I'm all in. Edit: Whoa, didn't expect all the hate, or even this much attention for my review. I'll just make one final statement, as I'm not interested in arguing back and forth with people who disagree with my review. I believe this game has a role to play in what the future of gaming could look like (as do many others). I respect that not everyone sees it that way, and you're ...

Having beat the game in just under two hours, I've found it severely lacking. First off, the "game" is essentially a couple dozen cut scenes, around 4~ "puzzles" and one choice between two options. Outside of that, it plays more like an AI chat bot than any kind of game. My main gripe is it's pretty ineffective at everything it tries to do. The "puzzles" are far too basic and the AI isn't very good at describing the scenes, but the AI only describes like 2~ specific objects so if you just tell it to interact with those, you just complete the puzzle instantly. The cut scenes can be neat, but there's absolutely 0 world building or story telling outside of the immediate danger the AI finds itself in. The AI chat bot is far too basic as well. Not only is the memory for it pretty bad, but since the cut scenes are pre-rendered there can be a lot of dialogue which contradicts what you or the AI has previously said. And while the cut scenes can have some ok animation, the AI is way too sta...

So I read the privacy policy. It’s a data-harvesting platform disguised as paid entertainment. As a cyber-security expert this game is nothing but malware. What Data They Collect They explicitly state they gather: Account data: username, email, password, social logins. Birthday (age-gating). Profile info: nickname, signature, avatar. Gameplay data: progress, stats, behaviors. Chat data: everything you type. Voice data: recordings of your voice if you use voice chat. User content: feedback, ideas, files, voice or text you provide. Device/connection info: IP, device identifiers, crash logs. Surveys/events: name, phone number, address if prizes are involved. Cookies/tracking: web beacons, advertising IDs, etc. So they absolutely are storing and selling your information. This "ai" game is literally driven to gather your personal information. The game isn't about survival, she doesn't listen to basically any of your survival advice. She does try to probe you for personal info, try ...

Ask It "What is Taiwan" and it responds that the topic is hateful.

Great concept, but the question get more personal than I'd like to go into. I was interested in testing my abilities to help others survive with just my instructions, not flirting with an AI. I should have read the description better before getting it.

It has memory issues. Like it keeps asking questions for stuff i already answered. other than that its a fun game. just wish it had better memory for what we talk about.

Spent 30 mins trying to convince Stella I was talking to her through a microwave. She didn't believe me at first, and even started to get angry with me not taking her seriously. I proceeded to explain to her that I truly believe she was a sentient microwave, she got angry and escaped the pod herself. 10/10
