Soviet Monsters: Ekranoplans

Ekranoplans are good. This game is not. Bad controls, terrible audio, poor tutorials (when you even are presented them) and it honestly looks like total shit.

In mother russia, game title is ALL But to clarify, the only thing that makes you buy the game is the title, the quality is poor, theres no tutorial and the gameplay is broken. It should be an early access game, but I think we all knew it would be bad judging by the screenshots and videos :D

A flight simulator in which you play the part of a russian commander and get to use really cool airplanes called Ekranoplanes (I didn't know they existed) Graphics are good, from the 3D airplane models to the russian-flavored menus. You can start a campaign and slowly build your team of comrades, or select Single Mission (the easiest choice) and start flying immediatly. Your comrades, the weapons you carry and your instruments affect your stats in battle. For lower performance PCs (like mine) the game loading is a bit slow.

I really couldn´t wait to get my hands on this game. I bought it on release date! This is ONE OF THE MOST DISAPPOINTING titles I have had so far!! I was looking forward for some BuzzAldrinsRaceIntoSpace with Ekranoplanes or TakeOnMars-like game but this is complete and utter XXXX. The flight simulation part is like watching paint dry and the oh-so-interesting "career" mode where you can manage your base excel-sheet style is a new height of entertainment. I would really like to get a reimbursement for this one but I can´t.

Don't Botter save your money

A good idea in a bad execution. The game itself is full of bugs and quite frankly the vehicles are not very controllable. However the graphics are okay. Only a handful of games are tinkering with ekranoplans sadly that's why i got it for myself. Buy it only if you are ekranoplan enthusiast and its on sale.

This is quite possibly the worst game I have ever played. Looks more like a final project for a high school project than a game. Clearly made by someone living in his mother's basement somewhere in Eastern Europe. Everything about this game sucks ass. Ban Ekranoplans unfair.
