I requested a refund: While this game was really getting fun, crawling the dungeons and exploring loot, dying a lot, there was something I found completely off for a $20 game. All you get us the Human class. That's it. Unless you start dishing out money (I think $4.00 a piece) for DLCs you are going to be limited to just playing as a human after spending $20 on a rouge-like dungeon crawler with procedural generation. The price was already fairly high for the game, but it seemed like it had enough randomization and customization in it for $20 that I didn't mind spending the money, but after 2 hours in I decided to switch classes and was brought to purchasing pages for DLCs. It's a fun game if you don't mind JUST playing as a human for the price. I would highly recommend waiting for this game to go on sale for at least half-off to make it feel like a better purchase but I felt jipped after paying the amount I did and having ALL these classes listed I couldn't use, but had to pay more ...

I hated this game, I'd spawn then die, then learn, then die to something new, then learn something new. To the point that I've beat the game a few times now, and all I can say for those who still hate the game? Get good, cause you obviously ain't learnin. I've learned to love all the mechanics in this game, from maxing skills in a slow pace run, or just sprinting through, eating whatever object my little robot could eat, or just having a blast playing as the shaman cause DAMN I love how weak you feel at first, but then your magic missiling everything as rat, lol. I'd say this game has aged perfectly as well, came out in 2015 and I started to play a couple of months ago. So thanks to the Devs for adding content and I hope more get added

One of the best dungeon crawler games I have played, this deserves more recognition as I believe it's very unique in graphical style and gameplay. It can and will be unforgiving, but once you adapt and learn from your mistakes, you'll be able to get through the game with ease. Darkness, patience and hit-and-run tactics are your best friends.

After 57 hours I finally beat it! I decided not to use any of the settings that make the game easier and it was so satisfying to finally get a good run! Very difficult, doesn't hold your hand at all but that's what makes it so great. Must play for all roguelike fans!

I thought my key was revoked. My account detail states I refunded it 9 days after original purchase. I don't recall refunding it, but anything is possible. Nonetheless, what I can recall of the gameplay loop, I really loved. I guess I'll just purchase it again and that will solve the problem.

Game looks like an amazing first-person dungeon crawler RPG, but I'm sorry, I simply can't recommend a game where melee has the range of an entire room. On the default, vomit-inducing 60 FOV, it looks fine, but once you put it on a human-compatible minimum of 90 FOV (not to mention the FPS standard of 100), even your fist suddenly has the range of a cavalry spear. This makes the game completely unplayable as judging the distance in fights becomes impossible, with even rats hitting you from across a room. No other first-person melee-focused game I played had such a massive problem with perceived range on the standard 90 FOV, and with the game's full release behind us, it leads me to believe this is an intentional design decision that is here to stay. So, if you are someone who can stomach the headache-inducing tiny FOV of 60, you will be fine, but as for everyone else, this isn't a game for us.

game is horrible. completely unplayable. you cant appraise anything without perception however all of the races and classes dont raise perception upon lvling. everything is cursed or poisonous. out of 10 items 9 are cursed. out of 10 food or potions 6-7 are poisonous. i have never gotten past the 3rd lvl of the dungeon or lvl 5 of my character. all enemies do way to much damage to you even rats and you do almost none. even fighters meant for melee take 6-12 hits to kill a enemy, and die in half as many. blocking doesnt work, it just slows you down. spellcasters die even quicker. none of the weapons last long enough to lvl yourself up especially the magic ones since they are rarer, which means magic users are foced to use melee weapons but they dont have the health or armor to survive. characters cant outrun enemies. controls are insane. no way to repair broken items. the first level can have trolls and mimics which are one hit kills if they hit you. only way to win is to use cheat cod...
