Upon revisiting this game, it's actually pretty cool and deeper than I realized. Original Review: I found the story to be very confusing and hard to follow. Worse, it seemed to have nothing to do with the actual puzzles.

Simply broken to where completion is unachievable

Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. The premise of this game is simple; 6 individuals are lost in a quiet, snowy little town. They are all searching for this one mysterious artefact which is thought to grant knowledge and understanding. As per the store page, in game there is no prologue or story for you to read, you are shown a vibrant and intimate picture of the whole town after you create your profile in the woods outside of it. A gently snowing, night scene with hopeful melodic music chiming away in the background. The softly blowing wind occasionally piping up, along with the odd patter of footstep. From there, you meet each of your 6 characters through the personality options: distant, focused, capable, giving, enduring and renewing. Selecting any of them drops you straight into the game and you are left to explore the town at your leisure.
