The game is good if you are looking for a casual couple hours to dump into something relaxing. About perfect for the price point but I have a few gripes that aren't enough to not recommend it (especially for 3 bucks) but still should be said. Warning minor spoilers ahead: English localization is very rough in parts, particularly the epilogue and beyond. With how well written the rest of the game is (I particularly liked the small spelling mistake easter egg in One Small Mistake) it's very jarring. The upgrades towards the end are largely pointless. You already one shot everything so damage mitigation is useless, once your threads start collecting collectors are useless, etc. This means that either you're spending time grinding upgrades that don't mean anything before the point of no return to get the achievement or, like me, you're stuck without being able to get the upgrade without restarting. The ability descriptions need some tweaking, especially for proxy. Without realizing ...

It's a yes with HUGE caveats: There are low-value (by this I mean you don't get much bang for your buck) upgrades you do not need to keep progressing rapidly, and so I have regrets. Beyond the very very early game, there isn't much skill required to progress faster (unlike Minutescape or Astro Prospector).
Excellent addition to the 'shapes game' genre, that includes games like Nodebuster and Max Manos. This one actually has a story! Pleasant and relaxing, not too easy or difficult, and can be played either actively with controls or as an incremental.
If you’re into chill, introspective indie games that make you think and you don’t mind a short but memorable experience, NetDive is definitely worth your time!
Fun 2-3 hour romp, nice skill tree and enjoyable gameplay
You shouldn't support a game that trivializes war. The developer wrote a text in the "Archive" comparing war to a technical error in AI. They claim that this error was "far worse" than war. How can you compare war, where hundreds of thousands or millions of people die, to a technical error that 98% of humanity hasn't even noticed? What's wrong with this developer? I hope the developer will delete this text. But even if they do, you shouldn't support people like that. Also, the gameplay gets extremely boring very quickly because after half an hour, you really don't have to do anything anymore. You just wait 30 seconds and start the next run.
The gameplay really hits its stride after a few runs, gets a little grindy at the end, and then surprises you with an epilogue and more of the story. Fascinating and well worth it at this price!
Great little action incremental game. Nothing too crazy but it's a good vibe, helped by the low-fi beat and visuals. Progression felt pretty slow throughout until the final hour, but it kept my attention. The biggest stand out is the story, for most of the game it's just text logs but the end really threw me for a loop. Felt a bit preachy but I really liked what it was doing and wish more incremental games tried to have some kind of story integration, especially if it's optional like it is here. Easy rec at 3 dollars.
Fun short incremental game (4 - 5 hours). Upgrades are a bit limited but not to the extend that its an issue.
Great on Steam deck!
