Game is good but don't play this on stream in public lobbies, the racism is higher levels than your average league of legends game.

About This Game

Choose your side in an up to 4v4 voice controlled battle between the sorcerers and warlocks or challenge your rival to a 1v1 in the Mage Colosseum
Channel your voice to cast fireballs, shoot frostbolts, conjure wormholes, and fire arcane blasts to vanquish your foes by speaking the correct words.

For thousands of years sorcerers and warlocks have waged war for the title of supremacy in the arcane arts. Now, it is your turn to enter the fray.
Overseen by The Goblin Archmagus, this battle will take place inside of the Mage Arena. The Mage Arena is an ever changing island, filled with fantastical landscapes to explore.
Utilize the resources of the land to craft useful items to gain an edge over your opponents.
In order to claim victory, you must infiltrate your opponents base and capture their flag pole. Once captured the Goblin Archmagus will deem them unworthy of resurrection, meaning once you eliminate each member of the opposing team, victory is yours.

If the creator of this game is reading this comment i'm telling you bro, you need to add scenario, campaign, coop story mode or something like that in this game and this game will be fantastic. Also i suggest you to add new items or parchments for the beginning. Maybe you can add those magics into the book directly.
I casted "testicualr torsion" spell and my game crashed. 10 ruined manhoods out of 10
I love this game. Mage Arena is extremely fun and addicting BUT it has a lot of issues that need addressing. There are 5 different types of players: 1. Edgy kids that make a Nazi, Confederate or KKK flag. (or all three at once!) then say the gamer word over and over and get mad and leave if you don't laugh 2. Gooners who make the flag of some type of big titty anime mage girl (based) 3. People that didn't play the tutorial and fireball their own team 4. Sweats who stack log soup so they have a dark souls boss health bar, with Excalibur, extra spells and possibly traversal items 5. Hackers (which as time goes on has become rampant and there is one in every lobby) Finding a lobby that isn't plagued by one or more problematic types of players is almost impossible. Hacking is becoming so common it's hard to find a game without a hacker in it. There is no system to prevent or report these players other than making your own blacklist and kicking players if you remember their names. Thes...
- Screaming "Worm", "Hole" then "Fireball" in the middle of the night - Woke up the whole house - They think I'm crazy 😭 Social anxiety? It's gone the moment you hear 'FIREBALL!' being cast toward you 😆 Also public lobbies are very amazing in the 1st week, but now there's been a noticeable increase in toxic behavior and racism making it impossible to play. The devs really need to implement a proper kick/report system. Overall for $3 the game is fun!😊
Game is great but: -There needs to be a way to access settings in the main menu. It's ludicrous that I have to join a game to change my own settings. -There needs to be a color blind mode; trying to discern if someone is friend or foe from a distance is very confusing, leading to a lot of friendly fire shenanigans. -The tutorial doesn't mention anything about Soup-Man (THE GOAT) What are his recipes? Where did he study the culinary arts? Why is rock soup so tasty? -A party system would be great to make sure friends can join together and be on the same team.
It's a great game, but if you're playing without friends or not enough to make your own lobby. You'll be hard pressed to find a game where the other players aren't screaming the n-word into their mics, or some other slur when casting spells.
Too many nazis. When they give more methods of kicking/blocking I'll change it to positive.
This game is stupidly silly and I love it, I hope that the full game will let me scream out more whimsical spells at my enemies, although I hope the voice detection will be improved too, as screaming "freeze!" 10 times in a row to get it to work probably irritates me as much as it irritates my neighbours who have to hear me becoming Dumbledore or even perhaps Gandalf at 3am on the daily /jk The absolutely simplistic graphics add to the vibe, and I hope the game retains its charm when development is finished haha
As a British person, having to do an American accent to conjure spells is just perfect :)
