People complained because FC games were all the same thing over and over again, Ubisoft made a different FC game and people complained because it was different. I love the game. Underrated game in the series.

This is the second best Far Cry ever released. (After Far Cry 4) The only reason why it isn't on the same level as FC4 for for me is the fact that there isn't a coop mode, which would have made this game infinitely replayable imo. You genuinly feel like a weak human trying not to get trampled by mammoths and wooly rhinos which is something I didn't know I wanted to experience. I enjoy pretty much every aspect of this game, from the gameplay to the graphics to the map design to the decent story line... The only downside is the fact that it gets pretty lonely after a while. It ticks ALMOST every boxes that a good game should tick in my book, the only missing one being coop. 9.5/10 would chuck spears again.

Hey Ubisoft, what the hell is going on with your games, both new and old, and even today there are still small bugs, minor ones, not serious, but they are, in the Far Cry 5 games, animals disappear when you kill 2 or more, the loot disappears to get their fur, it doesn't seem normal to me and today there are still problems, again, it's not overly serious, but they are there, that is, there are 7 years of difference and there are still things like this that normally shouldn't be a shame for the famous company and what Ubisoft once was. i'm sorry but how this has the same rating as far cry 3 is baffling, i don't write many negative reviews, infact this is my first, and i love the franchise played basically all of them, and i was fooled by people saying ohh this is soo underrated and some even calling it the best far cry game, like really?? if anything primal is the perfect example of a game being honestly rated at release that now became extremely overrated, the graphics are a downgrade from 4, don't let youtube fool you when you play the game the colors are fully washed, its either too bright or too dark, the missions are soo repetitive how can people not address that? the story my god it doesn't exist, the combat aswell is just soo barebones, can't block can't dodge, hardly any unique weapons, and don't get me started on the loot your inventory or "packs" even on max upgrade its always full, the only good thing about the game is the hunting and riding the animals.. thats it. such a shame man i was waiting soo long ...
