definitely recommend buying this to let companies know we want to see more classic Armored Core games on Steam! this plays really well and is a lot of fun. there isn't too much depth, just arena mode and customization, but i'll take it. Armored Core is Armored Core

Important note: this game is not localized for english speakers, and all in-game text is Japanese only. I'm pleased to share that this is a fun game! In all its retro, ancient, primitive nokia jank (I'M NOT SURE if it was mainly played on nokia phones, but my first assumption is that it was), it achieves a flow of sorts despite its limited design due to the hardware it was intended for. The fact that this was not only possible to play at the time, but adaptable to a controller and not prohibitively JANK is insane to me. ----What you'll find in this game---- -Mainline Armored Core-like customization -Matchup depth (not to the same degree as the console titles, but still) -An arena mode with real difficulty progression. -Tutorials, even if they need to be translated in order for foreign players. -Visuals that DO NOT SUCK considering they were meant for mid 2000's flip phone. -UI customization (for the emulator). Feels like a less bloated version of Ninbreaker back from the PS2 era (around the same time this game came about). There's a few training missions and a small arena to fight different AC's, and that's about it. Granted this a mobile game that has been ported into a playable PC-emulation, and it's very choppy and clunky in terms of controls and a bug here and there (remember to check what parts you had selected in the garage as sometimes the game will default to what you were last looking at and not what you selected to equip), but if you're an Armored Core enthusiast I'd say it's worth the pricetag to play a relic of the past and seeing as how these mobile games were strictly only available for a time over in Japan it can be seen as a small easter egg from FROMSOFT's past.
