You are the captain of an expedition into the Depths. Your mission is to colonize the underground, extract precious minerals, and survive the dangers lurking below.
Each turn, place a tile around your central base to expand your settlement and gain vital resources. The tiles are drawn randomly, presenting tough choices and unpredictable challenges. But remember — the fate is yours to decide.
There are many dangers in the deep caverns, but the most important challenge is to provide your outpost with food. The larger your settlement becomes and the deeper you go, the harder it is to keep everyone fed. Place farms and grow mushroom plantations when the food supplies run low, or your expedition may become one of the many lost in the darkness.
Unlock New Technologies
Among the many resources, the mysterious blue crystals are the most valuable. Their unique properties allow you to unlock new tiles and upgrade your outpost. Collect enough of them, and the Alchemist will provide you with powerful upgrades.
Mine for Riches
Don't forget that your main goal is to claim the riches buried underground. Build mines, search for ore deposits, and expand your settlement to get more gold. Without it, you can't fund your expedition and delve deeper.
Plan Carefully
Each tile’s reward depends on where you place it. Thoughtful placement can unlock powerful synergies and turn the tide in your favor!

The Depths is a perilous and ever-changing realm that hides tons of wealth. As you go down, you'll see that the environment changes. From the rocky and barren Upper Levels, through the foggy Humid Caves and scorching Magma Caverns, to the deepest Abyss: each biome offers new resources and challenges to overcome. But beware of the dangers lurking in the shadows.
Even if you fail, it's not time to give up! Unlock permanent upgrades and tune the deck to match your strategy. Procedurally generated caves and a vast number of technologies to choose from will affect your playstyle and make each of the expeditions unique.
Numerous expeditions failed to conquer the Depths, and yours is no exception. Learn from your mistakes, gather knowledge, find new technologies, and become stronger. Only the most iron-willed will return in fame and glory.
