I liked it, very chill, ideal for listening to music or a podcast. It is a fishing game with very simple mechanics, but with a certain level of grind to unlock everything at a reasonable pace. It has some lore, just enough to serve as a reward. I finished it in just under 3 hours, although I still have one last secret achievement to look for. If you like cozy games to relax, I recommend it. The other developer's game is also worth checking out. About This Game
Fish ‘n Ships is a cozy 2D fishing game!
Fish!
There are plenty of fish in the sea, and you can catch them all. Charging casts and manipulating your hook and line allows you to try and catch any fish you see in the water. But watch out, not all fish want to be caught!
Sell!
Bring back your haul to the port and sell your fish at the market. Some fish are worth more than others, so make sure you’re catching what’s in demand! Or you can feed your fish to the gulls. Who knows, you might just be rewarded!
Upgrade!
Spend money to upgrade your hook, boat, and more. Upgrades let you cast further, fish deeper, and catch bigger. You can also travel to different fishing spots and find even more fish!

I don't care what anyone else says. I've got a computer that's plenty capable of running this yet there's no way to mute the music, so when a music track switches there's a chance the visuals will catch. Which is kind of important when you're trying to avoid the creatures that ruin a catch, or trying to go after a specific fish. Either make the music separate from the rest of the audio or do not release a game. It might have only been around five dollars but that's money I could have spent on a different game that wasn't so crap. I've noticed pixel games seem worse about this in unity.
Short and sweet! Great little fishing game with a neat looking art style and more depth than I expected (pun intended).
Fish 'n Ships is a fun casual fishing game. It's well worth the five bucks. There are several beautiful environments you can visit as you progress, many different types of underwater creatures to discover, and there's even a storyline for your character. You can fish any way you like, but the game rewards you for using your consumable powerups skillfully, so you have to think carefully about what you're doing. The art is very well done and helps bring the atmosphere together with the thematic and easy to navigate UI. Overall, no complaints. Fun, short, immersive. Would like to see even more content in the future maybe!
Chill.
I Loved this game and am exited to see what the developer has in store not just for this game but also other future games. An Eldritch themed dlc would be great for this game.
Really addicting and chill, I look forward for any update additions.
Really enjoyed playing this game. The graphics are nice, the game play is good. I thought the background music was excellent. I enjoyed the challenge of the game, and upgrading the gear. I also enjoyed that you need to find the gear in the first place, it added an extra challenge instead of just trying to make loads of money to upgrade. Now that I am fully upgraded, it would be good if there was an update to maybe have timed fishing competitions or something else that needs me to get these fish. The only thing I would change, would be the sound of the fishing reel, if you could turn that off it would be amazing. I definitely recommend this game.
Great Incremental Game :)
Fun little game needing the right amount of skill to make it fun. Enjoyed it all the way to the end.
