The story and overall atmosphere was decent but there is a "sanity" meter which forces you consume food/drink to "survive" which is really just bs. You're forced to replay scenes from this bad mechanic. It makes the game longer. It's short and not thought out well.

About This Game
This is a first-person walking simulator + life simulation game with horror and thriller elements.
Story:
You are a young man gifted with the ability to sense the supernatural. To save money, you rent an unusually cheap apartment, believing you could coexist with “them” as you always have. But you soon discover that the disturbances here run far deeper—and are far more dangerous—than anything you’ve encountered before. Each sleepless night in this eerie apartment brings you closer to the truth…
Features:
Supernatural Perception: Play as a protagonist born with the ability to sense the paranormal, and close your eyes to dispel supernatural occurrences in the apartment.
Sanity System: Paranormal phenomena will steadily erode your sanity, while sudden scares could push you over the edge instantly. Learn to close your eyes at critical moments and maintain your mental state by eating and drinking.
Life Simulation: Open doors, switch on lights, eat, drink, sleep… Interact with your surroundings in detail to gradually build immersion.
Immersive Horror Atmosphere: Built with Unreal Engine 5, combining realistic lighting and high-precision modeling to create an oppressive indoor setting rich in Asian cultural elements. Paired with lifelike environmental audio, it delivers a truly immersive horror experience.
This game does not contain any puzzle elements.
[Warning: This game contains jump scares and sudden loud sounds that may cause discomfort. If you have heart disease, epilepsy, anxiety disorders, or similar conditions, please play with caution.]

took me around almost 2 hours to beat, it was definitely full of jumpscares and some light scares, I expected it to be more like a survival horror game rather than linear but It's still a pretty solid game for what it's worth a good story as well!
A very good short horror game. Few jumpscares really got me. Plays well on steam deck
I enjoyed Haunted Room 205 alot! I liked that it felt like a "twisted anomaly game" and that an actual GOOD story slowly evolved. Great jumpscares as well! I can absolutley recommend playing this indie horror game. My playthrough of Haunted Room 205: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCf7PECOPgo
juego de 1h, bastante entretenido y recomendado por el precio, para una noche aburrido con gente vale mucho la pena
Fun little game and worth playing. The story behind this game is different and a welcome change of pace.
I really enjoyed the story. I did not expect what the ending was and it caught me off guard. It was a well thought out game and It scared me quite a bit when I was not expecting it.
Amazing game, truly atmospheric game which reminded me alot of Mortuary Assistant, been trying to find a game to scratch that itch and it's here. Good work Devs, hoping to see more work from you guys! Also I'm playing it on a steam deck and it performs flawlessly, no meddling or mapping of keys needed! Update: finished it, what a great experience, a great ending too 10/10 horror experience, rivals many modern AAA standards
Completed the game with 4/5 achievements. A magnificent realistic horror game raking place in a bloody haunted apartment room. There are about 5 ghosts who haunt this palce, an old man, long haired pale ghost, shadow ghost, poltergiest and more. 10/10 game with stunning immersion, scary moments and unsettling haunting happenings. 10/10 experience, trippy, super fun and tons of cool content and story
Overall it was fun! I was a little sad that the full release did not add a lot more than what I saw in the demo, but it did have a nice ending that surprised me. If you haven't played the demo, this would be a very spooky experience! The sanity mechanic may not be my favorite, as getting forced to redo jump scares and attempting to block them out took away from the joy of getting jump scared for me. But, I still think it was worth the play!
