If we set the visuals aside, the game is fun and enjoyable. If you get bored in the beginning, don't quit the real experience starts in the second part, after you go through the portal. Once you start growing saplings, the game becomes much more engaging. I recommend using the reward from growing your first tree to directly buy a platinum cone and grow a platinum tree.
Atmosphere and story of 'Chasing Her Light' definitely pull you in and make you get hooked on the game. I really like the Minecraft-style rustic trees and the character's depressive vibe. It's a game with a lot of potential, and I'm excited to see how it develops.
I played the demo during Steam Next Fest, and they've added so much in such a short time since then. They even released three updates on the first day. The ending felt a bit short since it's in early access, but I truly believe this game has great potential and can go much further.
