About This Game

Tear into an action packed dinosaur arena brawler where you engage in non-stop life or death fights that will push your abilities to their limits. King of Bones delivers physics-driven skill-based combat that carries the full weight and impact of prehistoric creatures. Dash, dodge, stomp, headbutt, and smash your way through multiple game modes and over two dozen unique species as you battle to become king of the Jurassic world.

PHYSICS DRIVEN COMBAT

Vicious raptors will pounce and cling to your body. A charging triceratops can send you flying. Every part of the fighting system was designed to replicate the look and feel of these deadly titans clashing. Fights will be fast-paced and messy, enemies will struggle till the very end.

MULTIPLE GAME MODES

Survive free-for-all deathmatches in King of the Hill. Hatch from an egg and fight every dinosaur in the game while growing into a towering giant in Ascension. Fight non stop waves with ever increasing numbers in Onslaught. Or setup custom fights and sit back and watch the action in the Spectator mode.

WEAPONS AND ENVIRONMENTAL DANGERS

Grab a nearby log or bone to wield against your foe. Get blasted through the air by a high powered geyser hidden beneath the foggy waters. Or use your last kill's tail to bash your next kill. King of Bones will let you engage in all sorts of crazy carnage you've only ever imagined.

SPECTATOR AND PHOTOGRAPHY MODE

Dishing out the damage not really your thing? Setup teams with dinosaurs of your choosing and watch AI battle it out while you spectate the action. Take photos, control the speed of time, and get a front row seat on the carnage.

INCREDIBLE ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Subtle breathing of your dinosaur, dynamic stances, real-time body controls, detailed animations and so much more breathe unbelievable life into the dinosaurs. Leaves move beneath your feet and blow to the wind with a mighty roar. The small details are what makes this an experience like no other.

EXOTIC SPECIES

With 27 unique species, the arena will challenge you in different ways as each species has their own fighting style. Get crushed by an Ankylosaur's tail swings. Send dinosaurs flying with the Pachycephalosaur's headbutt. Every dinosaur is dangerous in its own way.

REALTIME PHYSICALLY SIMULATED BODIES

Using the latest Unreal Engine tools the dinosaurs' physical bodies are constantly simulated in the world which means every bite, headbutt, and stomp interact properly with each other.

GORE AND DISMEMBERMENT

Rip the flesh of your prey to shreds and consume every last bit of them. Fully dismemberable and simulated bodies mean you can make the most of your meal. The scars and wounds of battle and each bite taken out of you will all be readily visible.

King of Bones is a bold attempt at pushing forward the combat mechanics in the dinosaur simulation genre. Expect non-stop high impact straight up fights for your life. In this prehistoric world... death finds a way.

Looks fun on trailer in reality very limited game with combat similar to the creature stage in Spore..At least in Spore u can create ur own environment monsters and dinosaurs and pit them vs each other in Galactic Adventures editor. U dont feel like badass monster on this game at all,no weight no collision like you'd expect, its a clicker game disguised as "dinosaur fighting" in reality you just click mouse repeatedly and chip away the enemy health bars,Very sterile feeling game same kind of feeling from those open world games that dont let you kill non enemy npcs.Way better dinosaur and monster games on ps1 this one is not even 1/10th of interestingness just a modern piece of crap like an electric car! What a waste of a game name too

This game truly rocks. Of the few games that let you play as a dinosaur, this one is thankfully not another The Isle, Path of Titans or Beasts of Bermuda. Its a fighter that gives an arcade vibe. Play as a dinosaur, smash up other dinosaurs. Great models, great sounds. As of 16/08/2025 yes it is rough around the edges as you would expect from early access, but what is here is very solid. This game has a grand future I think!

The game is a lot of fun very well made tho right now the only thing really things keeping people from playing for more then 1h is the fact that its not online play right now so all your fighting is ai and it makes it really easy to win most of the time but i can see me and many others play this game much more when the game is put online pvp so people can 1v1 2v2 and so on tho maybe make it so you can invite friends to a game and fight that way you can fix any big bugs before it goes online pvp other then that make some of the dinos not so op (T-rex, stego) and some other ones too because all you need to do is spam right click and you will always win is really op but really other then some dinos being op and no online pvp right now its a lot off fun and i really hope that this game can grow more because this game has some major potential

Potentially good action game but is held back by bugs, messy animations and awful performance and framerate on steam deck. I can run jedi fallen order and red dead 2 on 60fps steam deck no problem but apparently this game demands more than that. My main dino is skorpiovenator.

I think it is alright but it has quickly become my four year old's favorite game. Definitely worth the price tag.

Would be a lot more fun if it wasn't so janky, attacks not connecting and all, that being said, it's still fun
