About the Game

The Wild West during the prime of the Gold Rush. The year is 1850. It was an offer you couldn’t refuse: Take over a prosperous General Store on the main street of a thriving town. What they forgot to mention: The store is a mere shadow of its former self in the middle of a ghost town. After the Gold was gone, so were most of the people. But you want to live the American Dream. And no one can stop you.

Show your business acumen and iron will to make it to the top. Start stacking shelves, set prices in an ever changing business environment and take care of the supply of goods. Make sure your customers’ evolving needs are satisfied and hire helpers so you can focus on optimizing your profits.

Did we mention that you can also show your skills as an interior designer when you paint and decorate not only your store but also your home overlooking the town from a hill?

Your Store, Your Choice

You have control over every store element from shelves to interior design. Optimize your displays, so your customers have a pleasant and wholesome shopping experience in your general store and find what they are looking for. A happy customer will be a returning customer. Can you bring back life to the deserted ghost town?

Manage your stock

Order your stock from over 70 goods from food items to weapons, tools and furniture. Barter with suppliers and wandering traders in an ever changing economic environment, where supply and demand is in constant flow. Adjust your prices to maximize the profits and react to changing markets and base prices. But don’t overdo it - a lost customer might never return.

Do-It-Yourself

Unpack goods, stack the shelves and organize your storage space. Work the cash register and make sure that the customer gets the best service possible. Or hire helpers to help with the daily business.

Expand your store

More is definitely more. Satisfied customers bring more business and a demand for more varied goods. So expand your property or build a second floor to display everything you have to offer.

You’ll never know what’cha gonna get

Increase product variety and attract more patrons. React to a multitude of events influencing your customers’ needs and shopping behavior.

Mini Games

Participate in fun mini-games like the Tomahawk Throwing Contest. Take on the leaderboards and unlock new licences for your shop.

Keep Your Poker Face

From time to time suppliers old and new might offer you a mystery box that can contain a wide variety of items or an extended amount of goods. The contents can bring a tremendous profit - if you are willing to take a risk.

Make yourself at home

You are not only responsible for the interior of the shop. Overlooking the town from a hill is your house, just waiting to be personalized and decorated.

Owned a Wild West store in a ghost town. Shelved goods, bribed a trader, and decorated like a cowboy Picasso. Loved the concept — hated the bug that traps me in day 5 forever. Guess my American Dream’s more like a “stuck-in-time” nightmare. 🤠🐴 Follow my curator page for more dusty dreams, ghost towns, and shelf-stacking chaos! 🍷✨ https://store.steampowered.com/curator/42602807-Osiris-Reviews/

Pros -Historical prices. Like 0,10 or 0,20 or 0,30 for basic products Cons 1. - The game is unplayable without good instructions. How does the cash register work? If I get my first customers, I have to press a button. But what button??? I tried everything. I could not continue. Where is the manual to explain how this game works? 2. - What are the REAL market prices? In this game, you can't make a profit unless you increase the market price??? The MARKET price is NOT what a shop pays to the supplier. The MARKET price is the average price that customers pay in average shops. Some shops could be cheaper and risk to earn too less to pay their own bills (like restocking for new supplies to sell in their shop and employees salaries). Some shops could be more expensive and risk to lose customers to the competition. In both cases, a shop risks bankrupcy. This is the reason that we should know the REAL market prices in this game. I don't recommend this game yet 4/10

So far I really like this game. I've never played any kind of supermarket simulator, but I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. I love the Wild West theme. I chose to play historical accurate prices, and that has made it more challenging, but I like that. Note to developer....I would love an option on the screen for buying stock that would show me what I already have in my store and warehouse. Needing to go back and forth to different pages takes forever. I find myself making notes in a real life notebook to keep track! Very old school of me.

I tend to like weird simulators, and boy this is a weird one. That said, while I *wanted* to like this one, I really can't recommend it at this time, the game feels more like a playable alpha than even an early access beta. They're really at the "proof of concept" stage and have a lot to do yet. I nabbed it on a whim after playing the demo weeks ago, and little had changed since then. The only benefit was a quick transaction button instead of having to use the register. I was getting motion sickness using it, just in the weird way it was designed. Which is bizarre to me as I don't have that problem with ANY game, but their register function is just that bad. The game just needs more thought put into everything, and it's unclear at this point how much pace and focus their dev and design team has to actually do the work it needs to get it there. Happy to change my review later, but for now it's in rough shape. For starters, you unlock access to many of the items through a series of m...

I first saw gameplay of this game on Youtube a few days ago and I was really excited for it, but now I am very very dissapointed. I just bought this game today and very excited to play it but there was a whole bunch of issues with it. lets start with problem number one. #1: the game loaded super slow and keeps saying the game is not responding. problem #2: when the game finaly started up it was really glitchy and the whole game was very shakey. problem#3: I went in to settings and tryed to change the resolution to see if that would help but it made thing worse, it exited me out of the game for no reason and will not let me back in. I have tryed everything to get back in the game so I could play but nothing worked, I tryed uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I tryed turning my computer on and of again, I tryed restarting my computer and that did not help either. I have tryed every possible thing to try and get this game to work but nothing helped, and I am sad to say that I am very ...

To the creator I love your game. but their is only one thing that needs fixing and that is the third loading. you can't even play the game because, the third loading takes forever to load. so, at this time my review is a negative one but if you fix this problem than my review could be a postive one.

If you enjoy the sim genre and like the wild west then you will enjoy this game. There's a pretty good range of products that you can carry and decorating the shop is a lot of fun. Its a good amount of fun for a very low price. I hope the game continues to get worked on for years to come, very solid base so far.

the ea release of the game has very little added since the demo and zero bug fixes. the lighting as absolutely terrible and the game is barely playable at this stage. Do not waste your money on this game until the developer fixes the glaring issues that makes this game UNPLAYABLE. As much as I want to love this game and I love the idea of it but honestly, I doubt that it will ever make a full release. The developer does not seem to have any pride in their work. So sad. I deeply regret my purchase but I hope that some day I can replace this review with a more positive and supportive one.

You could buy your daily Venti, sugar-free, non-fat, vanilla soy, double shot, decaf, no foam, extra hot, Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha with light whip and extra syrup or buy this game and explore the paths taken by the founding fathers of capitalism. At around 10 bucks, it's definitely the cheaper — and more fun — option. It's been a good game so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the developers are working on.
