People who give this game negative reviews because it's "too short" or because the terminal "doesn't behave the way" they think it should are fucking clowns. This game tells a short, self-contained, gruesome, and depressing story wrapped in an approximation of a Linux shell. I have thought about it many times since I completed it. The price of admission is 2.99 US dollars (plus tax if applicable) for 30 to 45 minutes of gameplay, which is a cheaper price per hour than a movie ticket.

if you're a big fan of mike klubnika then get it i guess, but i couldn't really recommend it to anyone. I'm really hoping this game is just an appetizer preparing us for a full course meal set in this world of the tartarus engine. even if the next game isn't a continuation of this story, I think it seems a common sentiment that these games need to be longer. this is the longest game klubnika has made yet, and most of its runtime is dependent on the player being lost in the dark on how to navigate a computer. the terminal is filled with a bunch of things that you cant interact with too, pretty much anything besides the stuff to progress the very short story is inaccessible so... why is it there? the games section of the terminal does have a bunch of easter eggs for actual indie games but besides that everything else is essentially just set-dressing, weeds for you to get lost in while looking for what you're actually supposed to do. i saw a review say this was Klubnika's best game yet an...
In the Tartarus Engine, preset junkies accidentally locked themselves forever into one of the worst simulations. So it makes sense why everyone is so afraid of not crippling their brains...
There is something so viscerally wrong with the implications of this game... and I love every bit of it. I highly recommend!
Too short for anything to really have an impact. its lore is implied to have some form of depth, but that is only what it is... implied. If the game gave some semblance of information I could at least come up with some ideas, but it really just points at a vague "them" and expects us to understand that "they" are scary. Overall it feels like the act 3 of a story.
If you have ever played UPLINK or Nite Team Four, you need to get this now. Look up nothing else and just dive in. Dont rush, there is no time limit (until there is) Seriously, this is incredibly powerful in a way few games are. Its worth $30, so $3 makes it a must-have
Another game by Klubnika which has a style and mood that grounds you into the setting very well. I enjoyed the game play as someone who likes more interactive simulation games (and terminals), but I can understand how some could find it tedious. I found the storytelling to be my favorite part. The player character and his team have regrets that are unclear but so powerful that they would be willing to sacrifice their lives to complete their mission. How painful is their failure? I could fill a page with questions about the game world despite being exposed to it through a couple monitors.
