Having been gifted a premium pass to Bianca Aquarium, Suze and her best friend, Lulu, receive a guided tour of the place led by the aquarium director’s charming wife, Chrissy. However, when Lulu suddenly goes missing, Suze goes looking for her and inexplicably finds herself in a strange and terrifying world that looks nothing like the aquarium she was at just moments ago.
While searching the aquarium, now overrun with gruesome sea creatures, a mysterious armed woman dressed like a soldier appears before her. The woman, who introduces herself as Retro, is also looking for her companion, a girl named Kitty. Can Suze find her best friend and escape from the nightmarish aquarium before it’s too late? Beware, for a traitor lurks in their midst...

A beautiful little game with a very unique, calming aesthetic. If I had to compare the vibe to anything, it's most similar to Ib, with a style of writing akin to Spirited Away. The story isn't anything terribly groundbreaking but is still very sweet, the main characters are all fantastic (with great voice acting), the side characters were surprisingly super endearing, the music was incredible, and the worldbuilding and mysteries were engaging, even if there weren't as many answers as I was hoping there would be. If anything, my gripes are primarily in the unanswered questions (which aren't [i]too[/i] important, thankfully) and a few of the puzzles being very obtuse (I'm not a puzzle game person, so they ended up being hard progression blockers for me until I looked up guides). The horror, past the beginning of the game when I wasn't familiar with it yet, didn't feel terribly intense for me, but it was still there and added a very interesting feeling to the narrative.
