About This Game

Puzzle Station offers two game modes: Arcade and Puzzle. Both modes have 50 levels.
In the Puzzle Mode you are given a limited amount of drops and your goal is to clear the playfield before you run out of moves.
If you are looking for a more casual game mode and just want to "zone out" the game offers an Arcade Mode where you can just blast away and hunt for the high score.

------- ------- Possible-medical-fore-warning: There has been some reports + newer-reviews mentioning something about the "current-built" of this game "flickering" quite a alot on some of the machines. While this doesn't make this game unplayable (as of writing this), some people might experience nauseating or any similar effects. Personally, I do indeed see some consistent flickering. But I don't exprience any medical-side-effect, at least not yet. Technical-fore-words: It is fair to warn right away that this is indeed a very "as-it-is"-release of the originaly year-2000-build of this game, which is also mentined on one if the first pre-title-images. So there are no build-in tweakings in options-menu for windowed-mode, resolution-changes, or various other "modern" tweaking-options aside wheteher you want to turn of the sounds or not most importantly. That being said, you're going to get one of the least amount changes suffering re-releases on Steam, only chnage being that it works ...

lapsuuden peli. tuli rassattua pienenä vidysti... jotta täyttää arvostelun kriteerit kirjotukseni niin voin todeta että peli on koukuttava ja pelin ulkonäkö saa aikaan tarpeen poksauttaa kaikki palikat! (ja suomalainen/5) My Childhood game. Spend many many hour with it.. But if i must say something about it: its very addictive, game's look gives you the need to destroy every block on screen. Also this is finnish game so it receives extra-credits from me.

A piece of Finnish game history from the 2000's. Originally sold through an ice cream truck. Interesting enough gameplay loop and fun VFX considering the times. Hard to say if it's worth 4€ or not, but it's a time capsule nonetheless.

This is quite a bipolar game. On one hand the Arcade mode is all about high-octane-act-before-thinking action that dishes out heart attacks with inpunity. On the other hand the puzzle mode is chill af

Despite the short amount of hours poured into this game (admittedly it can take a few hours to 100% complete everything), it still holds a place of my childhood with PC games. While I have played the demo countless amount of times from RealNetworks' Demo Disc (which contained over 40 demos including Team Fortress Classic strangely enough). This game, along with the PC version of Lego Racers 1 and the other games featured on that disc (Aironix and Dweep to name a few) is what defined the late 90s to me. I was too young back then to have my mind blown away from the majority of First Person Shooters back then (eventually Half Life did came to mind when the PS2 version was featured as a demo). But as far as PC gaming went for me, this game was one of my favorites.
