About This Game
Quantum Resonance is a first-person horror game focused on stealth and survival. You play as a maintenance engineer recently hired to work in an underground quantum physics lab. Your job: keep all systems and machinery in working order. A simple routine… until everything goes wrong.
After several tests with a new experimental machine, the systems fail, the lights go out, and a series of explosions rocks the containment chamber. Something has entered our world—something inhuman and beyond comprehension.
The lab has turned into a dark underground prison filled with real nightmares. Alone and without help, you’ll have to rely on stealth to avoid the creatures and use the monorail to escape the facility.
Features:
Monorail system: Use it to move quickly, collect tools, and check each room's status.
Rising tension: Don’t be fooled by the calm at the start…
Stealth gameplay: Use the environment, crouch, and avoid being seen.
Oppressive atmosphere: The sound, music, and enemies are designed to make you uncomfortable.

A small horror game. At the beginning, it feels like you're back in Black Mesa doing some chores, but the later part is tough! I should add that I played it on Linux and on the Steam Deck — it works perfectly.
I would say this game is a slow burn horror game since it has you do tasks in one big loop quite a bit for the beginning part and it does get repetitive. The final / end part of the game is where all the action is in this game as you have to avoid multiple entities as part of your escape and I did like that one of the entities stood in the doorway while another patrolled the room looking for you. The game is well designed as well but it does feel very barren in terms of life as after the one scientist leaves you are by yourself in this big area and it would of been nice to have other staff walking around or doing something similar to the first Half Life game. This isn't a bad indie game but like I mentioned before it is pretty slow until the end part of the game and for the price its alright https://youtu.be/kyccqBA5r2c
Great tension build up and unique mechanics. Probably the worst first day of work of all time. Recommended!
very fun game with some cool mechanics. ending section was annoying af but its supposed to be lol. would definitely recommend
I'm a little torn on giving this a positive or negative review. Overall, I actually enjoyed the game quite a bit. However, there are definitely areas of improvement that can make the game even better. Let's start with the Strengths: [list] [*] The atmosphere and ambiance is fantastic. I enjoyed exploring the facility, checking out the different regions, and the visual aesthetic presented. The low-poly, Half-Life inspire art style and presentation is a treat and a welcomed love letter to the title. [*] The story, though simple and straightforward, isn't bad per say, though it isn't particularly complex. It's a standard 'ripping open a door to another reality and facing the consequences' story. [*] The controls are simple, easy to learn, and beginner friendly. The mini-games aren't overly complicated and will not frustrate the player. That being said, they are pretty simple. [*] The skill curve! When the game detects you struggling and dying repeatedly, it does you the favor...
Great PS1 style horror. Great atmosphere, and cool concept. Some parts were a lil tedious, but amazing effort, love the animations and the voice acting.
