About the Game

During Black Friday, a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only a few days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, these Agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society.

When Society Falls, We Rise.

Features

In this action shooter RPG, you will get a unique gameplay experience, mixing tactical combat and online features. Stride across New York’s streets alone or with up to 3 friends and define the fate of your Agent.

As you explore the map, encounter dynamic events, loot & craft new weapons & gear, and customize your Agent to take back the city from vicious enemy factions.

As you finish the campaign you will unlock new difficulty levels and transition to a whole new experience: the endgame. But be careful: the more you progress, the more challenging but also rewarding it will become.

From this point, you will discover diverse activities that will keep you on the edge for months. Build your team of up to 4 Agents and discover a brand new way of playing through different modes: Incursions, Underground, Survival, the Dark Zone and many others.

Agents, it’s up to you to take back New York City.

Still looks awesome and atmosphere is much better than D2. Considering the price its a steal only for Campaign mode. Multiplayer is dead...

Best Division experience between both games. Even 10 years laters, atmosphere and immersion are still unmatched. Lots of people still play, specially during the monthly Global Events. If you can pick both games, great, Division 2 is not bad whatsoever. However if you can choose only one of them, this should be it.

I dumped 1,500 hours into this game on Xbox One. Fantastic looter shooter.

Discovered this by accident after getting frustrated with Call of Duty and was looking for some kind of a shooter that was actually enjoyable to play. Have completed this both solo and co-op. Also did a replay of this when COVID first hit which was a bit of an eye opener with the story line.

Love the environment.
Definitely recommend the campaign mode.
Dark Zone can be a bit frustrating and toxic.
The loot grind is fun.
Enemies can be a bit spongy and a little glitchy but still a fun game to play in 2025.
Ran fine a few years back. Now, couldn't made it pass the loading screen without crashing, absolute retardation.

I tried to give this game a chance, always heard good things about it. Granted i only have around 5H in, but if a game can't keep a new player in...how is it a good game? This story, for how little i saw of it felt incredibly slow and kind of a drag, which is fine, looter shooters aren't known for their stories usually, it also was incredibly boring and generic with really uninteresting characters, the most "Ubisoft" story that i've seen, all the clichés and narrative tropes are there. Now for the gameplay, i hear a lot of praise about it but i don't really see it ? It's all fetch quest, go there, do the thing, survive enemy waves and do it again to such a ridiculous extent i got bored of it in 5H. I usually don't mind repetitive tasks and games, i'm mainly a wow classic player so i'm used to this kind of things...but they managed to make it really boring somehow, more boring than a game that came out in 2004. The endgame could be good, i can't comment on it because the game was ...

Right now I'm dying a lot, but it's a lot of fun. My brother says eventually I'll level up and get better equipment, then I hopefully I don't die as much =D

I'm a major fan of Tom Clancy, and this game does the franchise justice.

It's an dead game. Rarely updates and I would recommend playing The Division 2. Crashes often and Dark Zone is unplayable nowadays.
