So first off, I think this game does have potential. But unfortunately it's very buggy. I've had two separate anomalies that are clearly not supposed to be there, ignored. So I have to keep a mental tally of what's a 'real' anomaly or not. There's also some game crashing bugs in there as well. As far as gameplay goes, again I think the potential is there. But my biggest complaints are no running ability, having to go all the way to the end to verify no anomalies and then going all the way back to the elevator, and (a smaller complaint) no tally of how many different anomalies I've seen. For the price, it's not bad. I just hope that the creator fixes some of the problems soon.

About This Game

You just want to get to your room, but something isn't right about this hotel. The hallway stretches on forever. The doors repeat. The lighting feels off. Something watches from the corner of your eye. In Room 808, nothing is quite as it seems. Your goal is simple: reach your room. The challenge? Spotting the anomalies...

Anomalies are subtle or surreal changes in the environment that signal something is wrong. They can range from distorted figures to altered lighting or sounds. Stay alert and spot anything out of place while navigating the hotel corridor

Spot anomalies and choose the right elevator to take.
No cheap jump scares. As long as you're paying attention...

Not worth it—even on sale This game feels more like a rough draft than a finished product. I beat it in 30 minutes, and that includes stopping to pet my cat. The anomalies are too obvious to be engaging (especially when the doll decides to relocate itself), and there’s very little challenge or content. Even at a discount, it’s hard to justify the time or money. There’s potential here, but it needs a lot more development before it’s worth recommending.
